Eight years running
I bought my Davis weather station in 2016, making it 8 years in service. I use Meteobridge flashed onto a router to upload to several weather services and the Weatherlink program on a computer to upload to Davis. I have had minimal issues with this setup. The app on IOS could use a facelift but has functioned fine.

Nice - But needs notifications
Reliable and gives a good compact view of current (and if you have Pro subscription, recent) weather data from your station. Has pretty good features to see trends in recent readings.
However, there is no way in the entire Davis ecosystem to get email or text notifications if your station is experiencing extreme conditions, which is often what weather stations are purchased for!
Suggest that this app would be the best place for Davis to implement notifications based on preset alarm thresholds.

Why is there still no widgets made for this!?!?!
Slow w/ Critical Updates
Around the fall of 2023, this app lost its ability to handle live updates (whether a fault of iOS changes or Davis). Just last week an update was finally released fixing the issue nearly a full year later even after many chats with tech support being aware of the issue.
This is a replacement for my prior 1-star review as they did finally fix it returning the app to usefulness.

Love this app and weather station.
I love this app it gives me specific information for my neighborhood and I can see other Davis weather link stations in areas I plan to visit. Living in the Midwest were the closest town is over 35 miles away we find it very useful. Thank you

Practically Abandoned
Many months ago now, Weather Link Live lost its ability to show “live” updates. Davis is well aware of the problem and only responds that there is “no ETA for a fix” which was months ago.
So basically you buy a very expensive “Weather Link Live” and end up getting a “Weather Link (every few minutes)”.
This is NOT the type of product one expects of Davis nor the type of support.

WeatherLink support
For more than 3 months unable to connect via Bluetooth or Ethernet. Tech support nonexistent. Worked well for few years but forget it if any issues despite calls, emails etc. faulty software. All other devices connect with networks fine. Impossible to get help despite already paying one year pro subscription. Many hours spent to no avail, no response

App works well
The app works well, I’ve been happy with it and hope they make watch os version to add a complication to use instead of having to begrudgingly resort to using a different weather app that’s not as accurate.
Live function
PLEASE,Davis fix the live function! For literally months now I’ve been dealing with this issue. When I open the app, it takes minutes to finally go to live….only to drop the live AGAIN after a few more minutes have gone by. If I leave the app open, it will finally go to live again for just a few minutes……frustrating!!!!!
