Reviews of WIDEX EVOKE

  • Would you please fix this app?!

All the complaints in these reviews are true. I like many things about the hearing aids but can’t use the app for navigating as others say. And why have the option of creating programs if the aids revert to default after a few minutes? I’ve used Widex for years but these problems make me question even considering them when I need a new pair. Disappointing for $5,000 hearing aids.
  • EVOKE and IOS 15.5

I’ve been pleased with EVOKE for 22 month however since I upgraded my IPAD 8th gen to IOS 15.5 I’ve had repeated problems connecting to my aids. IOS Control Panel says connected but Evoke App says No Hearing Aids Connected. I should add I’ve used my aids with both my IPAD and my iPhone 8 and they have switched between devices easily in the past. Now I have to reboot my iPad every time I go from iPhone to iPad. Maybe EVOKE needs in upgrade?
  • Zero stars

I’d give it zero if I could. The settings sometimes start to create static in your ears and I’ve seen a way to delete it recalibrate and them. Hence, you have to create new “favorite” settings and end up with too many “favorites” that tend to lose their calibrations after a while. I’ve reuploaded the app hoping for a better auditory experience, but see it has 2.5 stars. It’s quite frustrating hearing all this static when all you want out of your very expensive hearing devices is normal sound. At the moment, I’m losing my mind. Shame on Widex. You owe your customers better than this.
