I’ve researched for ages trying to find a good app to track films AND TV. I was a Letterboxd user for years and loved this, but wanted to watch more TV and in a more purposeful way so needed a tracker that could do films and TV. I’d be apprehensive about Trakt, because I thought the free plan would be too restrictive and the premium plan is unjustifiably expensive for me. Turns out the free plan combined with Rippple premium is a good, workable and sustainable combination (thanks to lifetime purchase of the latter). This app gets the closest to a perfect film/tv tracker out of the many I’ve experimented with.

This is the Trakt app to use
I've tried so many Trakt apps, and this one is easily the best of all of them.
Watchlist sorting needed
Almost perfect. Beautiful interface but please add the ability to sort the watchlist tab with, alphabetical, or release date, etc…

Ripples future
Love the app however I do find some confusion in the navigation and the multitude of drop down/press and hold options for each of the menu items. For me, Movist/serist had this down to a T
Beautiful app. But a few issues.
1. I can’t sort my watchlist, in shows or movies.
2. There is not a grid layout.

Don't Download
Sad to say this but honestly don't download it.
Everything that is mentioned in the description is hidden behind a subscription so for free, you will just get a comment board to talk about shows.
Feels like the developer just ruined a good idea by focusing entirely on profit and likely poor planning.
- App should provide watchlist for free on 1 device (this way the app is actually useable from the start)
- Remove free multi device usage and make it part of the subscription (like most other services)
- Provide a "trending" service that shows all of the trending movies or tv shows on streaming sites so the user can easily build their watchlist (this can be a subscription feature, to make subbing more beneficial)
(If developer replies feel free to leave an email so I can reach out and provide more feedback directly)
