I appreciate this app popping up and asking me to do a review. I would love to give them 1 star and they facilitated it. I would like this game if it was not an obvious cash grab. I ended up purchasing ad free simply because the game is simple and fun but there were so many ads that I contemplated not even playing anymore.
I find this game cuts you off after so many rounds. For example, there was one round where a key was halfway down in an out of bounds ravine so I had to waste a shot to get the key then make an across screen shot just to pass. It was obviously designed for me to watch and ad to get an extra shot.
My rule of thumb is always the same. As soon as a game gets greedy I walk away. I wish I had played this before this update everyone is talking about but oh well. If a developer wants to shoot themselves in the foot then that is their decision.Show lessMallardj
Great until recent updates.
Infinite golf was instantly addicting to the point I was showing my Co workers and we were competing for the high score. In a recent update though, they reduced the number of available balls from 3 to 2(which I understand is for ad revenue but not a good reason to hurt your product) and made some levels impossible to hole in one and nearly impossible to clear without the extra ball. They will force you to get a key which is on top of water and then have one shot to try and get past the world's fattest bird. Needless to say we don't play anymore and it's the devs greed that caused it. You want more ad revenue? Make us watch a video every certain number of levels. Don't make "infinite golf" nearly impossible and don't punish the people, like me, who bought the ad free version.Show lessTheMrDJ
Disappointing updates
Used to be a great game prior to the last update..... now with unlock keys that appear over water traps meaning you have to sacrifice your first shot (and therefore any chance to score, as the game works), and stupid birds that make your ball disappear, meaning again, you must sacrifice the chance to score - this game is now lower scoring and doesn’t encourage users to play for longer.

Fun!!!
A lot of reviewers are complaining about the recent changes to the game but I actually liked them. The extra ads not so much but the game just got way more challenging. My one wish is that I could reset my wicked big high score cause I can’t even get close to it now. It’s essentially a whole new game.
Hey maybe that’s the solution! Bring back the old rules as a “relax mode” option for those who preferred it.

Don’t download this game.
I downloaded this game before it hit the top of the free charts. it was amazing because it was very simple, yet still presented a challenge: you had 3 shots at the hole. land a hole in one, it multiplied the amount of points you received for each subsequent hole in one by a factor of one. if you took 2 shots, you got 1 point, 3 shots gave you zero but still let you on to the next hole. then it was reduced to 2 shots, and you have to watch an ad for the third. with that came the keys that locked the holes, which wouldn’t have been too bad if not for the lowered shot limit and the addition of a bird that almost always blocks the key. now i open my game, see my high score, and sigh because i know i’ll never get near that again, then close it. changing it back to the way it was is honestly the only way to save the game at this point. don’t download this game, 1.7 was the best version, and its long gone.Show lessEliteFeetFleet
Poor update choice.
The game was super addictive when I first downloaded it. It was enjoyable and kept me involved for quiet a while. Now with that being said with the recent update I maybe play it once or twice a week. Taking away the 3rd chance, adding the keys to unlock lock the hole just took away from the fun. Now maybe if you put levels in or made a fun free mode like the original release of the game and then putting in the advanced more challenging game mode would make it more enjoyable. You know sometimes they to much of something can ruin it, well it seems to have happened in this case. Cash grabbing
Unfortunately, the new updates to the game were not just “new skins” and “minor bug fixes”. The game has been changed from 3 ball with the option of a fourth with watching a 30 second ad, to two balls and a third after watching an ad. Along with that, new obstacles such as the bird which takes away a stroke, and the new key to unlock the hole (which at times creates a scenario where you have to waste a ball to hit the key) are new ways to create a lost ball, further pushing you towards having to view an ad (which the dev makes their money from) to continue your game. I love this game, the previous versions have been great and I played it daily.
I understand it’s a free game and that devs have to make money, but to make a game unplayable in a “free” app is just too much.
At this point I’m considering deleting the app out of frustration and unplayability.Show lessDaniac69420
Developers terrible decisions!
Getting rid of the third ball was ridiculous! Firstly just being poor by making the game so much more unplayable and unenjoyable, and of course the ad situation as I mentioned bellow in a previous review. I see right through you, developers! Instead of focusing on money, focusing on making a fun game for the public to play. You did it as the start, why ruin it?
Very disgusted at the level of ads!
Can not believe that there has been a ball removed in order to make players view more ads!

Bring back the old version
Before the most recent update you had 3 chances to make the ball in, and if you didn’t in those three they gave you the opportunity to watch an ad(and if you skipped it would sometimes play an ad anyways). But now it is only 2 chances then an irrelevant ad for a third, and on top of that they added a whole new mechanic that makes it to where you MUST use one of your only two shots in order to open up the hole, then use your last shot to make it in. Essentially if you miss the key you have to get a perfect shot to hit the key AND make it in within the same hit. I hate this most recent update and have not played the game nearly as much as I would in my free time before.Show lessxIm_Sky
