  • Fine app in the first trimester

I liked this app for the first few months. But well into the second trimester and there are fewer good daily things but it still notifies me twice a day to open the app. Today I opened it to wildly incorrect information which seems very common. It says that at 26 weeks the baby is the size of a basketball, and is 37 cm, which is 14.5 inches, which is less than half of a basketball. I get that the app is targeted towards men but the dude attitude of it kind of makes it sound like my baby wants to be a rude person or something.

  • Unhealthy.

New fathers… DONT GET THIS APP. My wife and I are expecting our first baby very soon. She suggested this app to me months ago as she uses similar apps. Her and I now both regret it. This app is extremely anxiety inducing. When I talked to my wife about it and showed her what this app was telling me, she was APPALLED. This app just makes a soon-to-be father feel worthless. It’s degrading. It assumes you’re going to be a terrible father before you even get the chance. It actually started to separate my wife and I emotionally. After we talked about it and will soon delete the app, we’re right back on track. If expecting fathers are reading this… you matter. Your feelings matter. It’s tough for both sides. Be there for your wife, yes. She’s dealing with much more than us. But don’t let something like this dumb app make you feel worthless. See ya “Hi Daddy”. I regret wasting money on you.

  • The app is informative, yet VERY ODD.

I am grateful to be a father. However, I found the onboarding process—specifically the verbiage—to be odd and a bit confusing.

Upon joining the app, I noticed that it was a bit difficult to comprehend, and there are certain features that, in my opinion, should be worded differently.

For example, when the app details the current status of the baby’s growth, it presents an option to view it in a general way and then in a “naughty” way. Why would you use the word naughty? It wasn’t even naughty.

There’s plenty more, but I highly recommend the developer rephrase some of the sentences to make them more palatable and enjoyable for the user.

  • Was a good app

was working fine but after my wife changed the due date it would not sync with my app. No matter how much we deleted and reinstalled. Contacted the help through the app via email and received nothing back. Disappointing lack of communication as it was a good app when it worked.
  • Amazing

Not only has this app kept me informed about the growth and development of our child but it has kept the information fun and interesting which has me coming back everyday to learn more about the baby and about what is happening in my wife’s body. This app is Awesome!!
  • Great app especially for me as first time dad

Lots of key milestones notified I wouldn’t have known about, ideas for baby and mum and for preparation for arrival and key milestones throughout. Great app, highly recommend!
  • Learned a lot

Even though this is our fourth child, this is the first time I used this app. It assisted me tremendously from how and why my wife was feeling certain ways to how my baby was developing. I definitely recommend this app for new dads. As my son will soon be born, I thank the developers for there help with our pregnancy.

  • Cool

The app itself is pretty simple compared to HiMommy, but the 3D render and size timeline are pretty cool. And it’s also fun to send her messages through the syncing feature.

However, recently I’m unable to use the app as it crashes upon startup. This started almost a week ago with no hot fix. Would really love to continue using it, but can’t until it’s fixed :(

Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app seems to have fixed the issue. Ideally I wouldn’t have to but oh well. Updated stars: 2 -> 4

  • Started out great

Loved the app in the beginning and then as we approach the 3rd trimester I see an extremely sexist message that says it’s time for me to learn how to do laundry, dishes and iron. WTH year are we in? These are things I’ve been doing for years as are most of my friends.
Could have simply worded it as, take on a few more daily chores around the house. It’s no longer 1955. Men know how to do laundry

  • Love the app!! But confused on one thing…

So Me and my Husband both have these apps and everyday we look at them! My confusion lies here. We paid for plus and every day there is a question you can click on for the plus section (example today's said “Why is it so important to use sunscreens?”) But the plus section where you'd think the answer is was all about cravings and nothing about sunscreen. Like, the questions are a lot of the time something id like the answer to but we don't ever get the answer. Please fix this or explain!
