Info disappeared and no contact from qeepsake
I’ve reached out to qeepsake multiple times over the last month through emails and calls with no response back from them. Info disappeared in app …..years and years of data gone! They charged my card for renewal and so I am paying for NOTHING!Cc rs a

I love this app! It is so great for capturing memories and writing down all the moments I don’t want to forget with my children. The question prompts are nice and the milestones are perfect for remembering all the firsts! Can’t wait to order my book. Great alternative than a traditional baby book and easier to keep up with. And the customer service is great! Any problems I had (my end, not with the app) were resolved quickly, with friendly support ready to help with whatever I needed! I will definitely be ordering more books.Show lesscperick

Could do more to help busy parents
The concept is great, but for a company that constantly tells you they are trying to make it easier for busy parents, they could make it easier and cheaper. As a new mom I loved the app and was adding new pictures weekly. But life gets in the way and over time I had a huge backlog of photos that I wanted to add. It was disappointing to find out that you have to pay more in order to backdate photos. When I finally had all my photos uploaded, life got in the way again and my membership ended before I could print my book. I couldn't believe that I had to pay for one more entire year of membership in order to print the book that was already ready and waiting in the app. Then you pay to print the book, on top of the one year membership fee. Adding the extra fees and barriers to getting a book finished doesn't really lend itself to the company's goal of helping busy parents.Show lessrachelgenna
Hidden costs
Hidden expenses around every corner. You pay annually just to be asked questions. This is supposed to include a “free” book but even if you only have a few entries they will spread them out over more than the small free limit of 30 pages resulting in a charge. Then you’ll be asked to pay a fairly high shipping fee for something that can fit in an envelope and takes a month to get to you. Lastly, if you want to take your text and pictures and memories, they will charge you to export your own memories.
I wanted my book to include my child’s entire first year, so I took us to complete, so I had to pay for two worth of subscription. At the basic rate, this is more than $80. Plus, there’s no way to get a free book unless you only want it to include a couple so I had to pay for the book and then I had to pay high shipping and and I thought I might want to print another book later and they need to keep my journal entries. At the end of the day I paid over $100 for a 36 page book that barely includes a handful of memories. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.Show lesstonya528

I was really excited for this app, however the questions that were being sent were not relevant to my sons age so we started to ignore the questions as well as not relevant to the country I live in asking about thanksgiving in November. If the questions were sent in relevance to your child’s age and the country you live in , it would be fantastic and we wouldn’t have lost interest. We wasted our money on this app, I’ve been using baby’s first year a simple book of firsts by Lucy darling. It’s fantastic (hard copy book).Show lessahootsy92

You can shut off all American holidays in your question settings on the app and turn on any that are more representative of your family/country. I started using Qeepsake when my first son was born. I luckily downloaded it prior to him being born and found many sleepless nights just sharing time between writing in the app or watching shows on my phone. I now have over 1000 entries with pictures (and now videos). I am not as diligent about writing every day, and I often just write without the prompted questions. I have gifted a Qeepsake subscription to many mom friends, and I found myself reading back on post from when my first son was an infant to help give me perspective for my newest son. Things I swore I would always remember would have been forgotten without writing them down. While I love the idea of a physical journal, the app is so much more accessible especially when needing to keep the lights low or out. 10/10 recommend!Show lessSHEMBKO

The books are too expensive to order from Canada.
The questions are repetitive and some are not age appropriate (asking if my 8yr old has learned any new words as of he were 2yrs)

Not impressed just auto renewed my subscription without emailing me ahead of time. After reading about the book fees I will cancel don’t want to deal with duty and exchange!!!alainarldc
