Bugs are worse than they were
Just got the update. The bugs are even worse. Can’t see the full screen on my iPhone. The green indicator door goes missing on the graph. Sometimes the graph doubles up. I hate to leave a bad review because I really want to love this app!! And I really need it to work. Hate that I’m spending money on it right now. Please fix!!!!Really buggy for paid app
Very buggy!
Holy cow! Where do I start. I guess this app has been out at least a year now so there’s no real excuse for this app. I can’t scroll down to see all the firing segments if you have more than 6. Some screens the back button doesn’t work so you get stuck and have to kill the app and start over. Graph doesn’t update properly, sometimes it’ll show the green dot where are are in the firing process, sometimes it doesn’t. The tool bar at the bottom covers up some information and won’t scroll properly to see what’s behind it. Tool bar also just downy work on some screens. I could keep going. Hire a developer off fiverr and get these bugs fixed.jdj1971

I use this app a lot to keep track of firings and this most recent update it terrible…
The 3 zones look really awkward at the top, I’m unable to scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the “settings” button.
The previous version was much clearer please reverse it back.anaeva23

We do have a lot of upcoming features planned for both the programming experience, but to also create a more community experience. I just got a new kiln and was very excited about this app existing (an added bonus). It’s very convenient to check the progress of the kiln when I step away from it.
I enjoy using it for the most part, but I really would love it if the app had a feature where you could check previous firings. As a beginner kiln user, I would love to see the data from before as reference as a way to track what settings worked/haven’t worked for my ceramic pieces. Also, seeing the graph, the one used on the genesis screen, through the app would also be a great progress to see.
For now I’m just writing everything down, but still would love to have data on the app itself.sohsilly
Buggy and slow to update
Just as the title says. This app is slow to update the kiln temp and requires closing the app to manually update it. Basically useless in its current form.jahhchdhex c
Update breaks app
Your latest update (July 2022) breaks the app for me. I use dark mode as I’d imagine many user do. All information now is blank - I see nothing. Only way to see info is to completely switch my system to light mode which is harder on one’s eyes. Please update to accommodate this. It was working more or less better before.Seebacon
Completely non functional now
Used to be Ok but since the last few updates it doesn’t work at all. My screen is just mostly white and I can’t log in. So disappointed.Mark_Stedman
Mixed feelings after update
It was an okay app when I first bought the kiln controller—very simple just to monitor the progress — however, you can’t make any changes to programs and the keypad on the computer panel is hard to type on so it would be helpful if that could be easily done on the app. The new version of the app is buggy in the sense that if you change your brightness settings (dark color instead of light background) then all the words disappear until you switch your phone to a bright background setting. I also didn’t like the new ads but they seem to be gone now with the latest update. It would be useful if we had a menu to pick from in order learn how to do certain things like updating the kiln firmware and other general questions rather than hunt down the paper manual. Even though it’s buggy, it’s still useful to keep an eye on the firing while you aren’t next to the kiln.MuzikLoverGurl
I love the app!
I’m usually home while firing my kiln. But occasionally I may leave my house (within a couple of minutes away) and its very comforting knowing I can check on my kiln and not have to be stuck at the house until it shuts off. I’ve only had this kiln for 4 months, the app is awesome and so convenient. I had a kiln for years before this one and would be stuck at the house or have to get up in the middle of the night to check on the firing or see the temperature. No complaints from me about the app!Marriednurses
App Quit Working
This app worked really well for quite awhile but when I tried to use it yesterday and today, it is all messed up. Can’t get any details on my firing, login info is hidden. Tried to go the ‘Report and Problem’ and ‘Developer Website’ routes but all those links are broken. Really liked this app…what happened and can you fix it????? I did delete and reinstall it a couple of times, rebooted my phone, checked compatibility with my iOS version….nothing helped.Deer Ridge Creations
