  • Enjoying game but...

The is another great title in this series. I have run into a brand new frustration playing on my IPhone X. Now that there’s a home indicator on the screen itself instead of a home button on the phone, it’s very difficult to select items from the inventory without accidentally swiping the home indicator. Apple has outsmarted themselves. The inventory on all these games needs to be moved to side or top of screen.
  • Love this series!

Another great installment of the Grim Tales series! Even though Elephant is known for their monotonous gameplay of: find amulet, insert amulet, receive another amulet, repeat ad nauseum, somehow with this series they up their game and make the gameplay interesting. The hos are quite varied. Mini games are unique, and range from easy to medium in difficulty. The length of the game is about average. Both the main game and bonus have interesting stories. This was a really fun game to play!!
The cons: I really dislike having tasks or objectives come up on the screen, and as how there’s an option In the difficulty settings to do away with this irritation, they should go away but it never ever works! This is not just a fault of Elephant, but all the developers, and it drives me crazy. Especially so in this game, as the “completed task” and “ new task” take forever to leave your screen, and you can’t hurry them along or do anything in the scene until they finish. Ugh. Also, Richard is one of my favorite characters of all time, however they’ve changed the actor playing him! Instead of the deep, spooky, echoing voice, they’ve replaced it with what sounds like a whiny teenage boy! No emotion at all in his voice, he just reads the script and that’s it😔. Deducted a star for the annoying task messages and for the abomination of replacing Richard. Otherwise great game!
  • Bored with Big Fish

I used to look forward to finding the newest BF game each week and couldn’t wait to download it, even at $6.99. Now I’m disappointed every week that there is no new game, so I end up downloading ones I’ve already played many times. I’m also tired of monsters and killers and long for a game that is illuminating rather than depressing.
  • Grim Tales: Time Traveler

Not worth anyone’s money. Why are these games so, so short and non-sensical. In the past I have bought so many games and now I can’t find any of them. Why? I would really like to know why. Games in the past were better than what they are now. I know times are hard for everyone but Developers some people are on a tight fixed income and this is their only enjoyment in life. Have a heart and I hope this shows up with the rest of the reviews. It won’t allow me to rate only 1 star!
  • Grim tales

Good game::: what’s up ?.. where are the new games???? If I could find others than big fish I would change
  • Looks good, but pretty boring

Underneath the good graphics and animations, this is basically a hidden object game. Figuring out where these objects go after you collect them is easy... no... I’d say obvious. The only challenging part of the game is the mini games/puzzles and some of those don’t make sense or are just boring. This game kept me entertained for a little bit but just got repetitive and boring after a while. Good time passer at the airport and on a flight but I won’t be sealing out additional titles from this developer... at least in this series.
  • Too short

I enjoyed the game. It was a tad on the easy side, but that is a relief from all of those brain busters. But for $6.99 the game was way too short, even with the bonus chapter. I would only buy it on sale, knowing the length
  • Not worth $6.99

I played the short demo, and refuse to pay $6.99 to unlock the game that is a carbon copy of all the other games. Woman drives down the road; she crashes; she has to perform a ritual; then, go here, solve a puzzle, get an item, go back and use the item, find another lock to get pieces for, find the right tool for each puzzle, get the ghost to give you something, unlock the door, play the HOP, find the morphing objects, find the puzzle pieces, ad infinitum. Blah, blah, blah. None of these games are worth $6.99 EVER. I’ve been playing computer games since 1985, some that took days to finish instead of a few hours. The games have become so cliché!
  • Better but not best

Pros: Some fun puzzles, custom levels, nice graphics, easy but enjoyable HOs, plenty of things to find (collectibles, morphing objects, puzzle pieces), no issues on my iPad Air 2.
Cons: I have no idea what the story line is since I skip over the glowing skull guy which is just a way to waste time before giving me what I need; I skipped several puzzles which are blatant time wasters; there really is no bonus story - the main game suddenly cuts off and then picks up again as the 'bonus' portion.
  • Finally...

Big Fish remembered Anna had a husband and featured him in this game. I have been following this series since that game was released. Love seeing some of the characters from the other games in this most recent one. Good job!
