Simple, neat and organised.

Great for scanning a lot of documents at once (I used it for scanning a short course textbook). I highly recommend this one for iPads and tablets over the generic camscanner which is not designed with tablet use in mind.

A decent app

I reviewed this up not long ago when it are changed and thought that The ability to save a photo to camera roll as a JPEG had been removed because the icon just says image to PDF and there was no obvious indication that i could save it to my camera roll, I only found that out by clicking save to album, by the way this is an important feature for me.

Also I am an iPad user with a visual impairment, so would find it very useful if I could use it in landscape mode as well as portrait, and would hope to see these fixed in a future update.

If you could do that I would give it five stars.

Since CamScanner HD version hasn't been updated for a long time, which is not compatible with IOS system. Please download CamScanner iPhone new version on iPad and log in the same account to use. Sorry that CS iPhone version isn't full screen on iPad. About your suggestion, we have recorded and transmitted it to the app's developer. We will consider it seriously to improve our app. Thanks.

Not working with current iOS update, free subscription.

Your solution to turn off internet, and try opening it doesn’t work!

I too have files in the app, and to be locked out of it is ridiculous!

Please update it to current iOS level, so I can transfer files. Or provide a solution please.

I try to stay away from developers who do this kind of business, “it’s free”, BUT, we can shut you down without repercussion if you do t buy something from us.

Great product up to now!!

Hi, CamScanner HD Pro has not been updated for years. Please download the new version - CamScanner app to use and log in with the same CS account to get the synced documents.

Old Scan Files

I have been using Cam Scanner Pro for years. Somehow I have an older version of Cam Scanner Pro where all my scans are and it is no longer compatible with my current IOS operating system and I have the new version that does work but does not access my older scans from the earlier version. I don’t recall having set up a cloud backup and do not know how to merge my old scans into the newer version app on my IPAD. I am fearful that I have lost all of the files I had archived under the older version. There was no guidance or warning that one needs to backup your scans to ensure they will be available with future evolutions of this product.

Sorry that CamScanner pro version hasn't been updated for a long time, please download CamScanner version instead. If you failed to open the pro app, please try to disconnect your phone with network to see if the app can be opened? If the pro app can be opened in this way, please save all docs to the gallery first and then import the images into the new app from the gallery. As for the pro version features, please send us your CS login account at isupport@camscanner.com so we can help to upgrade the account. Later, you can sign in to the CS app with the account to enjoy the pro features. It is recommended to use the CS sync feature to back up files to the cloud regularly in case of any unexpected data loss.

Button to save to files gone

When I use 'open in' and then save to files the button to actually save is gone.

No OK button. No save button. I can navigate to the folder but I can't save it because there is no OK button.

Update....the save button is still there but it's invisible.

Very useful in work or personal

From having warranty info, family history documents, or searching OCR from scans I find this app as a Time saver

Stuck app

The app has been totally frozen in my iPad Pro 2020.
I can't even sign out.
To sign out I have to uninstall the app. It is rare that if it works under other subscriptions.
the problem is that I am not interested in creating a new subscription since in that account I have documents that I need to recover.
It was working perfectly until yesterday, August 9, 2020.
What I can do? I will appreciate any help

Hi, was there any error message popped up when you tried to sign out? Could you please describe the issue you met and contact us at isupport@camscanner.com? By the way, the CS HD app hasn't been updated for a long time. It is suggested to download the iPhone version for using now.

Good when it works

Works nicely on my old iPad and iPhone but doesn’t work on iPad Pro with latest iOS... Once I sign in, it freezes and doesn’t allow me to do anything.
