Everything was fine up until day 15. Can’t get through half of a day (in the game) without the app crashing. When I open it back up, it takes me back to the last time I saved - which was the night before. So everything I did during the day is erased. Not just extremely annoying, but I physically can’t proceed because it keeps taking me back. I also hate the black loading screen. It’s too long to wait between screens. Not worth the money. They need to fix the crashes. I want a refund.
Love the game... Keeps Crashing... For my friend above the quantities of the item matter for the quests. Please fix the crash bug and I’ll give you a five star... keeps crashing before I get to save on my good parts eg. I filled my animal barns but before I could go to bed it crashed now I have to buy them all back... I was headed to the mines to close off my day... I literally have to go through the whole events after I buy each animal all over again... name them again ....
I’ve been playing harvest moon since I was 4 years old and it’s one of my all time favorite game series. Recently, I’ve been thinking about buying a HM game to pass the time (quarantine), but I can’t find a decently priced N64 or PSP anyway. This game has a Hero of Leaf Valley feel mixed with HM Boy and Girl. But, somehow, it still feels like 64. I don’t understand how there are so many bad reviews on this game. The only thing I noticed that I could bring up is that when you’re playing the game for hours without breaks in between, the game crashes and you have to re load the app; as long as you save it doesn’t really effect the progress. Other than that, I think buying this game was the best decision I could’ve made (seeing as the entire world is locked in their houses right now). Thank you, Natsume! - a life long HM player.
I beat the story and I got to the middle of year two, when suddenly, the game won’t let me buy anything anymore. I also can’t take out any of the supplies that I have stored in storage. When I go do any of my daily chores /harvesting/ mining, it keeps saying that I “cannot carry anymore of this item.” So it has been “put in storage”... which wouldn’t be a problem... but I can’t get anything out of storage... soooooo..... since I can’t collect anything to progress in the game I can’t play anymore. Also, you have to save your game at lest 2-3 times a day because the game is constantly crashing and you will lose a bunch of data if you don’t. I ended up just buying it for my PS4 and it has no glitches at all.... so don’t bother buying it on here. Just get it for an actual gaming platform and you should be good. I would give the game a full 5 stars, but since you can’t actually play the game in the App Store I’m giving it one.
I love the game, hate that it crashes all the time and that it doesn’t auto save. The load times are baffling as well. It’s 2020 and we’re playing the game on our phones, not N64 or PlayStation. You could keep the feel the same while eliminating all the same old problems. Mobile games need to pause automatically when the screen sleeps, and it needs to restore from the exact state, seemlessly. Otherwise it’s Classic Harvest Moon and I love that it’s not a free to play moneypit.
Can you fixed this problem I cannot not open the games and I am also a huge fun of harvest moon but after reinstall the game I cannot open it why it this because of the phone version or others my I-Phone software version is 13.3 the problem when I open the games without the internet it said unable to Verify App why is that happen if it’s because of software version or others
This game is fun, I love harvest moon but you blow through the main story line extremely quickly, and while there are still things you can do post credits, it takes some of the fun out to beat the main storyline so quickly. Game does crash at times, but I just save after I do anything important.
I’m enjoying the game play, however I’m seriously tired of this game crashing. I’ll get just finished with a quest, or near the end of the day and I’ll be finishing up to sleep and save and BAM everything I’ve accomplished that day is gone.
It’s also annoying that you can only save if you sleep. So, because I fear the constant crashes days are going too quickly because I’m doing bigger things for the game, I’m sleeping and saving at 9am.
I recommend the ability to save whenever AND FIX THE BUG! I wish I hadn’t purchased. I can’t enjoy the game because of the crashes.
I’m a huge Harvest Moon fan, I have every game on every platform they have come out with and have never been disappointed until now. I love this game but I’m ready to give up on it and really feel like I should be given a refund because the game constantly crashes I save it after everything I do but it is really but you can’t save the game in the mines and it is really annoying to spend the day in the mine collecting what should be a huge payday and have the game crash as soon as you exit the mine before you can save your progress. Also my quests from villagers will not work, I have the required items, I have tried everything I can think of and tried looking online for a solution to my problem but I am not able to complete quests. The game glitches out often and gets stuck not allowing me to move at all. I really feel like this game is a very sad representation of the amazing games I know this developer can put out and the fact that they have not fixed these issues and it’s basically been forgotten but they are still charging $15 for this problematic game. They lost a lot of respect from one of their hugest fans. I strongly advise against purchasing this game unless they come out with a new update and will be contacting apple to suggest having it removed from the App Store because these issues have not been addresses and from the comments of other players you can see it’s been an issue for a very long time.
I love this game, and all the Harvest Moon games. This version however keeps bugging out on me. Quite often the screen goes black. This usually happens when fishing, or loading in between screens. So the screen goes black, but the timer keeps going. You can see your bag, but can’t get into it. The only thing you can do is to shut your game completely, and start the day over 😕 When I’ve spent so much time getting the day just perfect, this is a real bummer. Still a fun game though.
Update: I had lower my review to 1 star :( Even though the Harvest Moon games are typically my favorites, the game is so buggy I can’t even get through one day of gameplay. Within minutes of starting a day the screen goes black, and I have to restart. Unplayable. Please refund my money.
So are you guys ever planning on fixing this or just taking our money, and leaving us frustrated? I just spend 1/2 hour playing, and then the screen went black, and I’ll have to start all over...again. This franchise is so popular, do you not care about your reputation? UPDATE PLEASE 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
