It Works
While the relationship with Valley is the main reason for banking there, their app is just ok. The app does everything needed, but is a little clumsy and not the most aesthetically pleasing. They should just use BOA’s app for reference and build something similar IMO. SoFi & Wells Fargo are also pretty nice, but you don’t get the relationships at the big banks.

Lioe the app
I absolutely love being able to deposit remotely. It is a huge time saver. My only critique would be to use a passcode to login rather than having to type complex passwords each time. My other banks operate that way and I love it. Enter a 4 or 6 digit passcode and your in!
Just ok
Handles the basics for a banking app, but the bill pay feature looks like it was written for a computer, not a phone. The writing is too small and the screen real estate isn’t optimized for phone usage.

Great App Great Bank
Love the business app, I enjoy Valley Bank’s staff they are great, helpful and friendly and efficient. My only criticism is that when I invariably change phones because my password is on Face ID I forget my password. Valley Business does not have 24hr password reset. It is not enough to make me leave Valley Bank but enough for me to write this review and complain. Solution: have 24hr password reset for all accounts. Customers are fallible.

Horrible
This app is difficult to follow, and flows in a manner that makes absolutely no sense. Also, to this day I cannot use the online bill pay through the app. If that wasn’t bad enough, no one a customer service seems to be able to fix it. But wait, there’s more apparently there are three different customer service departments from three different companies and they all work independently. What an absolute mess.

The bill Pay is cumbersome with having a different log in and double verification. Also just logging in takes longer than other banks I use.

Cumbersome and slow
Unfortunately, nothing in this app or banking website is intuitive in the least. Wires are exceedingly difficult with two different logins with which one has to bounce back-and-forth and frequently there are hangups and nearly every time utilization of online banking is cumbersome and difficult. We use several other banks online sites and don’t have this difficulty.
