The worst deliver & ride app.

You get what you pay for. Prices change or are not accurate for food delivery. The options are very limited and of the lowest quality. Drivers are constantly trying to rip of westerners and probably their own family.

They’ll often leave food anywhere just to go to their next stop and then DIDI will force you to pay for food you never received. If you’re using cash and don’t mind being hassled it’s ok for emergencies. Otherwise I consider it the worst food or ride app on the market.

If you ever need to speak to support, they have the education level of a tennis ball.

Highly Unreliable

I recently downloaded DiDi. I take early morning rides to work so I bought the DiDi pass. I thought I was going to get rides, but instead it would keep me waiting without booking me into a ride and I would have to use Uber just to get to work on time. This is not acceptable I want the money I spent on the pass I can’t even use and delete this garbage of a service right away!

No customer service

Why do you have no actual customer service ? My driver intentionally went out of his way to increase my fair I tried to report it on didi however it says “This trip you’re trying to get help with doesn’t match the issue” when I go to I was overcharged or didn’t follow gps. I then emailed both available didi emails. One for emergencies one for everything else and what a surprise the general email isn’t monitored anymore I have to go back to the app into help to the “customer service” that literally doesn’t exist Whatever go to the incident email where I am told to do exactly what i’ve already done and not to contact them. I understand that’s for emergencies but when you have no customer support, no email and no way to report like you say to do with my exact situation what am I meant to do? I’ve tried anyway I can in the help sidebar to report by saying not satisfied and explaining why and I just get a “Thanks for the feedback.” This has been going on for 3 days, it’s obvious youse don’t monitor the feedback why bother having it if you’ll never help the customer. Reading through reviews no customer service has been one of your main 1 star review for years sort it out.

Fraudsters!

I was charged more than 3 times what they quoted me for the ride. Driver dropped me at the destination but didn’t end the ride until way later and customer service won’t refund me the difference. The driver’s phone overheated right before he dropped me off but my phone was working and you can clearly see that I got out at my destination! Uber/Lyft have never done anything like that. They literally stole money from me and it’s a common theme if you read reviews and Fraud reports online. Do NOT give them your credit card unless you want to get robbed. I’m looking into legal action. This is ridiculous! What kind of company does that? How can a company stay alive without any trust? Terrible. Go for Uber.

Someone stole our taxi and we got charged for it

As the title says, my friend and I were waiting for our taxi, but a group off people came running and took it. It wouldn’t be a big deal if we were able to notify the driver and not to charge it on our card, but we can’t even get help on the app. Now we got charged for a ride we didn’t even get. We want some sort of refund and if I could put a 0 star review I would.

The worst app ever

I have booked the ride with this DiDi app today at 11 pm and I’ve been waiting at my pickup destination for about 30 minutes in this cold weather, and I’ve literally been waiting for the ride patiently. I got a voucher for 10$ from this so called app and I wanted to use it as it’s expiring tomorrow. When I booked it literally showed me that my fare is 0$ as the voucher covers it. But their highly rated drivers have cancelled my ride not just 1 but two so I didn’t want to wait after that and I cancelled it and went home. But guess what they’ve sent some driver 5 minutes after I left that place and also they’ve literally robbed me. They have deducted 0.20$ for the rides they themself cancelled and also they deducted 7$ from my bank account for the ride which was supposed to be free anyways. This is the most worst app ever and I strongly recommend everyone not to ever use this app ever.

Didi in China

Use Didi in Alipay, you will be able to use Didi in China with a Canadian Credit Card

Won’t let me pay with my credit card

This ride app won’t use my credit card I entered to pay and tells me I need to pay in cash. I don’t have cash or a credit card that can be used at an atm. First and last time I use this ride service . I am using Uber which is safer, cleaner cars and I trust not to say enter card information but then when you sit in the car it says pay with cash. This won’t happen again. You cannot change the payment method to anything other than pay in cash. You cannot get ahold of didi for help easily. The estimated savings vs using Uber was not worth it

Cancellation Policy Needs Improvement

I've been using DiDi for my rides lately, and overall, I've had a positive experience with the service. The app is user-friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the drivers are generally friendly and punctual. However, there's one aspect of the service that could use some improvement: the cancellation policy.

On multiple occasions, I've had drivers cancel on me after they've already started moving towards my location. This is frustrating because it wastes both my time and theirs. It's especially frustrating when I've been waiting for several minutes and the driver suddenly cancels, leaving me stranded and needing to request another ride.

What's even more frustrating is that only riders are charged a cancellation fee if they cancel too late. While I understand the need to discourage riders from cancelling at the last minute, I believe that drivers should also be held accountable for late cancellations. Implementing a fee for drivers who cancel late would incentivize them to be more reliable and committed to completing the ride once they've accepted it.

Overall, I appreciate the convenience and affordability of DiDi, but I hope the company will consider revising its cancellation policy to make the service even more reliable for users like myself.

James, we completely understand your point of view and we're gathering efforts to make sure these situations don't happen again. We have tools to penalize drivers for this behavior and we really hope you won't give up on DiDi! DiDi Rider - The world’s leading mobility platform

Reckless, incompetent Drivers

Had booked a ride back home from the airport, exhausted, with about 1hour wait times with incompetent DIDI drivers driving off, cancelling again and again. The first driver Usman would not answer his calls; literally arrived at the pick didn’t stop AT ALL until I walked up to him, bizarrely rolled his eyes, and drove off recklessly. Reported him to security. Booked another ride, hoping it would arrive decently, only to endure another half hour wait with the driver cancelling on me AGAIN. Time wasted. These are the standard of drivers in your company Didi. On top of that, NONE of the promo codes and discount they promoted in the spam emails directed TO ME even appeared in my app. Their DiDi website and contact details they tell you to visit/use is useless and impossible to contact their employees. Would be nice if an actual manager would act on these complaints, instead of having employees direct you to their useless website where they just preach their non-existent company values.
