Terrible setup

Camera works fine but if you have too reset the camera say you get a new phone or something happens to your phone then you have too go through them to activate your camera that you payed for and it takes about a week unbelievable

Decent

I’ve used this app for years for lights and it’s decent. However, the past few months I have lost the feature to add this app as a widget. Please bring the feature back, as not having to open the app to turn on lights is very convenient

Pretty good so far, but

The camera system that I bought screws into my light fixture and works pretty good a little too sensitive on the motion system especially once in a while the bugs at night set it off so I had to turn off notifications sounds because of the sensitivity. Also a little sensitive on the sound one as well the only real problem I have is I’m unable to use the light mode where you can turn the light on and adjust the brightness. I know you can do the light in color camera mode, but I’d like to have access to be able to adjust the lighting brightness accordingly as well as activate it to stay on when someone’s coming at night to my door and I’m expecting them. Otherwise, I like it and I am planning on getting another one for the back door

Bad for reviewing video

The Energizer cameras are good, but it is very difficult to review video. There is no option to download files to view on my device. Watching video through this app is difficult. If something happened in an hour period, or longer, you are going to watch for that long to catch it. No fast forward, no speed settings. You can slide the timeline, but it jumps inconsistently and you have to wait for it to buffer. And the timeline scroll keeps dropping below screen! It’s up for 2 seconds and then drops - even while actively using it! Very annoying!!!

Save your money

These bulbs and app are garbage don’t waste your money, I had three bulbs one completely stopped connecting and was just flashing for over a hour the last two work when they wanna work. The app is another story it always says you have no devices and then when it does go through it might or might not work on your bulbs that your using, I got mine through work and they say you can use them on Alexa and NOPE they won’t connect to anything or the app it is garbage, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

You get what you pay for: trouble

You have to be afraid of contacting energizer company, they get snobby and snooty, sometimes they not reply back with info, sometimes they get opinionated and remark sarcastically, you have to be afraid if they cut you off with programming of doorbell cam so it not work for you, they do not inform what existing doorbell systems this works with, you cannot print out any manuals so when on internet you are wasting time bouncing around to find an answer to your problems, even doorbell electricians have problems where they isolate unit by itself and now you have two doorbell systems, I have been dealing with Energizer company for three years on issues with this doorbell cam and if you have need to contact someone well good luck with that… you are dealing with a firmware company, a device company, And the Energizer sale dept, you can’t download manuals for troubleshooting, specs, or guides on programming, goin thru thar internet menus wastes your time and confuses you in finding the answers you seek….stick with Energizer Batteries as this is something they do well with!!

doesn’t work at all

i have followed all the steps correctly which are very hard to follow and extremely unclear and vague. have had to watch youtube tutorials of how to split my wifi into 2 separate wifis just for some LED lights. after doing all that the app doesn’t even work and says there is issues every single time, there is nothing wrong with what i have done it is completely an issue with the app itself. waste of time and money shouldve just come with a remote if it isn’t going to even work with an app. would give 0/5 stars if i could.

Adding device timeout

I brought my LEDs about 2 years ago. I have official energizer smart LEDs and I used the energizer smart app since I got them. I have had some issues with the app however it still worked so there was no need to complain. I had upgraded my phone today. I restored my backup and the app had been deleted from the app store. I decided to download this. It uses the same steps as the energizer smart app. However this one kept timing me out not long before the device was going to be added. I thought that I was being too slow through pressing add so I pressed it the second I saw it come up. It then started timing me out after seconds. I even tried putting my LEDs into set up mode before pressing set up to ensure that my attention was on the set up. However that did nothing. It had gotten down to a small part that needed to be added however it timed out. The frequency asked questions didn’t help as they said that I needed to hold and press a button but these are LEDs. They don't have buttons. It didn't even have an alternative for LEDs. This app is useless. Only get it if you want to get annoyed.

I don’t have any Bluetooth devices in my home.
Can you stop asking me to turn on Bluetooth..

Need WiFi to view cameras remotely

This app is pretty basic / not the easiest to navigate. For the price point, the functionality of the cameras is pretty good. My main complaint is the inability to connect to cameras remotely from the app unless you’re attached to WiFi. I understand bandwidth and speed issues, but it does me no good to have a camera to watch my house when I’m gone and not be able to view live cameras using 5G.
