Clunky app but it works, barely
I almost gave up using this several months ago when we upgraded our wifi to a gen 6 mesh system. My older (2 years old if I recall) smart plugs, and this app, apparently only work with a 2.4GHz network. (That’s wifi gen 1, I believe, if you’re curious, though gen 4 devices are usually backwards compatible.) Anyway, just a few weeks ago I had an opportunity to get an extender that happens to create a 2.4GHz network, so these devices started working again. Great!
Still, the app struggled to get the devices configured. There’s 3 different ways to attempt to configure devices, and I had to try all 3 before the last method worked. I also struggled with the app to figure out what it wanted me to do. For some reason the interface has buttons that look like they’re grayed out that I didn’t even realize were buttons at first, but I had to tap them to continue. Anyway, I finally figured it out, though, and now I can use my plugs again.
They also can be linked up with my Google Home, which is nice, so I can use the plugs in automations over in that system as well.

Half-Screen Bug
I can only see half the viewport when putting the camera preview to full screen. Can’t see the camera at all in normal preview mode. Snapshots work fine and show the full screen, so this is definitely an issue with the app. Would love to just integrate with energizer smart, but the camera is not supported there.

Doesn’t connect to my light anymore
One day my supposed “supported” light bulb stopped connecting to the app. I deleted the light bulb to connect it again and now it just doesn’t want to connect to the app. It just keeps timing out every time I try to connect to the app. I have the 2.4gz wifi password BT light blinking properly and nothing.

Failing
So I’m trying to adjust things and it keeps saying operation failed. It doesn’t work all the time. I’m trying to see outside and nothing I took the app off added it back and still having issues. I might as well buy a different one. Disappointed
Love my doorbell but hate the chime
I purchased the doorbell first and it was just getting annoying thst I didn’t have a chime in the house. I only had it on my phone. On the phone it worked great. So I purchased the chime. Had a hard time getting it to pair but once I did it was ok. The complaint I gave is that I can’t hear the chime. I have the volume as high as it will go and if the house isn’t completely quiet you cannot hear the chime at all. I am thinking about returning the chime.

Doorbell
The app works well. Only recommendation: Please add a restart option as the app goes offline when the internet gets a hard reset!
The reset should allow the device to start searching for the network after the power is off and reconnect!

Ugh, why did I update?????
This app WAS great! Did everything I wanted, nice and simple, had it for months and zero problems.
Then I installed the update from a few days ago (Nov 2022) and now it’s super glitchy! It has to “load” now every single time I open it. And opening each individual device now takes like 2 seconds each. Doesn’t sound like a big issue, but it’s INSANELY annoying when you’re trying to turn off/on a bunch of things in a row. ESPECIALLY because it USED TO BE flawless before this update. Near instantaneous!
PLEASE FIX! Get rid of the delay when opening the app and then again when opening every single device within the app, please!!

The latest update is very unstable
The energizer app worked fantastic with the cameras, ever since the latest update one week ago, the app has been very unstable. The camera images are jittery, and the new layout is very unfriendly. If the developers could revert back to the last update, everything would run smoothly again.

I totally didn’t go to Walmart to ___ one of these just to see if it’ll work and then went and found out how good it was one back and bought like 12 of them I’ll give it a five out of five
Does not rotate into landscape mode
When I select the camera full view, the screen does not rotate into landscape mode and the picture looks distorted.
