Was almost good, now iOS 18..
Was a mostly functional way to control these bulbs. There’s no way to rearrange the dashboard, so when I wanted to control an entire fixture at once I had to scroll to the group I made. Not the end of the world, but clunky.
Killing blow has been the update to iOS 18. With the death of legacy widgets, there is no quick way to turn my lights on and off anymore. Apparently, this has been coming for 4 years, so it would’ve been nice to have an update before now. My lights are also incompatible with HomeKit, so now I’m kind of stuck. I open the app, tap to turn on or off the light in one room, and it instead turns on or off the light in the room below it on the menu. Do you want to accidentally turn on the light in your sleeping child’s room when you’re trying to turn off the light in your own bedroom? Do you think a user interface should so readily make such a basic interaction produce the wrong outcome on a daily basis? Don’t try and pin this on me, Ledvance, I know how to use a touch screen and my fingers aren’t gigantic or something. You can stick a thin little gutter between menu items, it isn’t hard. And feel free to demonstrate how little you care by copying and pasting the exact same text you’ve posted to every single other one star review.Show lessDeveloper Response

For example: currently it’s the middle of the night and there is very heavy rain and wind which it has been all day, and this app is saying it’s 11 degrees and sunny 😂 the inaccuracy is almost always the case, so my commands don’t work (ie. turn on the lamp when it’s cloudy/stormy, etc). I double checked my location and all is correct so I’m not sure where this info is coming from. No other complaints!Show less
