Effective and regular updates

This app is continually running and works well. Obviously some sites like to try to outfox these blockers from time to time, but this one keeps coming with the relevant updates. I do wish though that there were tutorials on how to use all of the features and how the app works alongside iOS 17’s and iCloud’s privacy features.

Unique Outstanding Design App!

I have used this unique 5 Star app for many many years! In fact I can remember when the Name change on the App and slowly changed back to the current Name on the App. But I can contend know matter what the Name was the Outstanding App always worked for me it never never did fail me. The Developers have put a great deal of time sweat love and yes Hard Work on the coding of their Software. They surprise me when they added the Firewall protection which has always worked and been a success in a protected system that I as an ole man needed. I have been lucky thru my many years that I got to see Technology change so much and thanks to these Developers that I was going to use some of it! I truly truly appreciate and thank the Developers for all their hard work in keeping up with all the security concerns and corrections that needed to be made on this Software and that they did with all the updates that they did through out the years! So as an ole man I want to Tip my Hat 🎩 to you and say “ Thank’s “ for anyone who read this I Hope you will Download this and give it a try. I Don’t believe you will be disappointed or sorry! I truly truly never was !

Great App and Support

I originally got the free version, which allows you to use one component. I chose the Safari Ad Blocker. Worked great, but I was having an issue on one site. Used the contact-the-developer function, and they responded and were able to solve the problem for me. Was so pleased that I decided to give the paid version a try for at least a year, allowing me to add blocking for web trackers; and for in-app trackers (firewall). I don’t notice any slowdowns for the ad blocker. *Maybe* minimal *occasional* delays after enabling the other features. Highly recommend, for greatly enhanced privacy and great support. Also, everything is laid out nicely, and clear descriptions are provided for every element.

(This review replaces a longer, more detailed, review I was just finishing, that went away when I got a second phone call. Didn’t want to restart from scratch.)

youtube doesnt work

I know we were told that you were working on a fix for youtube. Its been a couple of weeks now and I cant use youtube on safari with 1blcoker installed. Ive tried diabling but it still doesnt work. Until this is fixed I cant give a 5 star review. Ive been using 1blocker and paying for it for 2 years now on my mac and iphone. Haven been very happy except for this one issue. Pleas fix it asap. Thanks

UPD: We have some great news! We released an App Store update addressing YouTube video ads and its anti-adblock pop-up. The latest versions are 1Blocker 5.6 (iOS) & 1Blocker 4.4 (macOS) Please ensure that 1Blocker Scripts is enabled and allowed in the Extensions section of your Safari settings. --------------- Thank you for sharing your comment. Content blocking on YouTube is handled by 1Blocker Scripts. This is why it's also worth deactivating it to ensure no rules are applied there while we are working on a solution: Safari > Settings > Extensions > 1Blocker Scripts. On a side note, signing out of your YouTube account or accessing the site in a private tab might hide you from the anti-adblock pop-up. In this case, YouTube can still be loaded with 1Blocker Scripts enabled. Experiencing such issues is frustrating, and we greatly appreciate your patience. Fixing YouTube takes longer than usual because it is a completely new issue for us, and it requires additional tweaks in the engine of 1Blocker Scripts itself.

Was having issues with Safari and in app tracking blocker…

But thanks to Shortcuts, I can disable it when I open Safari and enable it again when I close Safari.

All my problems are now fixed.

Love it, happy to keep paying my subscription.

Best money spent.

This app allows me, who likes to constantly go to sketchy websites. to get information I need for reports without the worry their tracking me. Even in my sleep it works, it blocked over 200 trackers in 10 minutes. It blocked all that while I was asleep, and after using 1Blocker I’ve noticed my phone running faster and using less power, leading to more battery life. I like how it even works for me when I don’t have service- so even if something’s still tracking me, waiting for service to finally send the data, it can’t. It has a firewall and a free “tracker blocker” just for safari. I highly recommend this and a app called IVerify. Both cost money but choose what’s worth more for you. Honestly, I’d say 1Blocker is. I use 1Blocker way more.

I’m being fully transparent here, and a quick update.
I’ve noticed one or twice randomly the firewall will stop and I’ll have to manually restart it. I’ll remove this edit whenever this is fixed or I stop seeing this.

Amazing Unique outstanding App!!

This is truly a outstanding app and I truly thank the developers for an amazing system they have put together! I have used the other 1BLOCKER for 2 and a half years and for me have never never had a problem with it. About the time you think the app can’t get any better the developers pull out a better system! You can tell they have put a lot of time in to this new system and I am telling you download it today you will not be sorry!! As they have always said ( This is the only Add Blocker you will ever need! ) Thanks to a great app and a great team who took the time to not only put this together but in a special way for you myself and our family! Best add blocker for iOS and macOS

It's as simple as it sounds. It blocks adds on youtube and it blocks adds on twitter. That's enough for me to make it essential to my everyday computer use.
