App not so great
The app has stopped working properly and if I’m honest. Not that great. If minirig could spend a little time and money on making the app user friendly and fix bugs it would certainly make this the best buying option for high end cheap speakers.
As for unison, I’ve never had an issue. Needed to watch a 1 min vid to understand how to link properly and from then on I’ve had many a party with amazing sound and never an issue.
The speakers them selfs are unbeatable in every way. Absolutely love them. Can’t wait to own more. A minirig 4 with 80watts would be amazing guys. 😉

Crashing everytime I click home
Keeps crashing
Amazing speakers and great app
The app has never crashed or glitched on my iPhone 12, super solid and jam packed with features. Hard to go back to JBL after getting a taste of the MINIRIG way, they’re just light years ahead.
What am I missing?
I don’t have any real issues with the UI though it could use an update. The major problem is the system simple doesn’t work. It’s impossible to link the speakers in stereo. Occasionally by some miracle it will work but it seems entirely random. I really disappointing app for a great set of hardware total letdown.

Just no
As phenomenal as the speakers are, that’s how useless the app as. I thought the other reviewers must just be overly picky, but not at all. This app is non-functional. Why even bother putting it out there? Crashes right from the outset.
App sucks
App suuuucks. UI is terrible. Never connects to the speaker without multiple attempts. Music jitters in and out on my girlfriends phone.
Getting better
Thank you so much for improving the app, the app is now able to load smoother and entering it is a lot easier now which is very much appreciate it. Thank you again and please keep up the good work.
App just doesn’t work
I love the MINIRIG sound,design and that it’s made in the UK. I’ve bought 2 MINIRIG 2 2 MINIRIG 3 plus a subwoofer. However the app causes so much stress and makes justifying the not insubstantial investment very difficult to my long suffering partner. I have spent hours just trying to get them to link. It’s proved impossible so far to link more than 2 speakers. I will once again walk away and lie down in a dark room to try to recenter myself. Sadly I would find it difficult to recommend this otherwise brilliant product due to poor technology attached to it, Please please sort this 🥺

Crashes consistently with iOS 13.4
Love the Minirig 3’s and Subwoofer 3, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. IF you’re able to connect to your Minirig at all it will eventually crash as you try to navigate through it. Touch the button to go “home” and it crashes every time. Read the user manual and learn how to operate your Minirig(s) without the app. The app itself is useless at present.

Unusable app crashes after recent update
iPhone 11- app is now unusable after update, albeit it hasn’t been great but it did at least work once you got past the initial connection issue (x12) times. Needs lots of work, while the speakers are great i always dread using the app. I’ve also noticed severe connection issues when connected speakers with app in use. I’m giving a favorable 4 star for now because it was working mostly ok before. Needs fixing though,this needs priority.
