Taxi location & progress
Loca is not as nice as Uber or Grab. Loca shows my car’s location and progress as it comes to me but once I get in the car I can’t see where I am or my progress to my location. The app is good but it could be much better

The app is buggy and confusing. Also had an issue with the fare estimate vs actual fare charged. It appears to have the functionality to let you dispute a specific trip like in Uber but when you actually try to submit something (with all fields filled out) it shows this message: “ Error

Crazy expensive taxi rides
Wow, the equivalent of nearly $40 USD for an 8 minute taxi ride in Laos? Think carefully before using.

A Wild Goose Chase
The driver took me on a detour to increase the mileage and the fare by 50%. Despite reporting this immediately Loca simply don’t seem to care. This kind of slap dash attitude to customer service will enable drivers to take advantage of their fares - since the buck clearly doesn’t stop anywhere.
No access
One time password didn’t send so I cannot access this app. Because this is a state owned monopoly I therefore have no access to transport! Thanks a bunch.
Hails fine but a battery drain
This app does help with payments and ride hailing in Laos. But it also depletes my phone battery and makes my phone hot to touch. Clearly, there’s an issue in the app.
