We had just arrived in Laos - the ride was 9000 Kip but we thought it was 900 000 which is what we gave him - when he drove away we realised we gave him the wrong amount. The taxi driver did not give us any change from the 900 000 Kip we gave him!

You can’t check the (estimated) price before booking a car, so they surprise you with a price that’s quite expensive, compared to other options in Laos. The way the app works: they give you a taxi before you have a chance to put in your destination.
Don’t use - The fee is very misleading and expensive
I called a LOCA in Luangprabang the fee on the app said 200,000lak to the train station but when I get to the station I had to pay 445,000Lak which is twice the price.

Watch out for scams
Driver canceled right before another motorbike drove up and offered to take me. Tried to charge me double what the app said. I could see the guy coming on the map on the app. It looked like within 100 m of me when the other motorbike drove up. Then I got a message saying the driver had canceled. Get a Lao Sim card and use a different app. Indriver. Or another local app.

APP DOESNT WORK
I have tried SIGNING UP BUT THE OTP CODE never sends to me so I CANT USE THE APP!!!!!!

I have tried to sign up numerous times & was not able to because I never received otp sms code. What can I do?
