Disappointing
I paid extra to have wifi added to my new garage door. My experience with this app has been really disappointing.
The main source of disappointment is that it just randomly drops connection. The only way to fix it is to either reset the USB receiver or reset my router. If this happened once in a while I would probably be able to accept it. But it happens about once every 1 or 2 weeks for no apparent reason. I wait it out to see if it reconnects, but it never does.
Another issue is that there are times when it is connected, but the door won’t work. I press the screen and nothing happens. There is a green dot to confirm it’s “online” and if I open the door manually with the remote or wall button I get a notification on my phone that suggests the app knows what’s happening. Still it won’t open from the app.
And yet other issue is when you can actually open the door with the app, it works well, but when you close it, it lets out an obnoxious beep for about 5 seconds. I’m assuming that’s a safety thing but wow…it’s excessive. And startling when you aren’t prepared for it.
Finally, I don’t understand why there is no Apple HomeKit integration. Maybe it’s an MFi thing? The fee is maybe an issue for the developer. But in 2021, smart home devices need to work on all platforms - Amazon, Apple, and Google.

The worst
No CS and the app never works. On top of that the remote opener is only good from 10 feet away. Would not have bought if I knew these things in advance.
Inconsistent
This app is great…when it works. Have had this for about a year and half the time it doesn’t work. Then a week or 2 goes by and it works again. I’ve made sure My phone is on the same WiFi network but still nothing. Also get lots of online/offline notifications. Why does it go offline randomly when my internet is working fine. Very buggy app. Will be buying a second remote unfortunately. Oh and the remote is very fussy about when it will work. You have to be practically on top of the door before it will finally open after numerous clicks! Love the quietness of the garage opener but other than that the remote and the app need improvement.

Hit and miss
I have two skylink openers. The app rarely works for both at any given time, and as of the last week...neither. Reaching tech support is difficult and an exercise in futility. The openers otherwise work, which is the only reason it gets 2 stars from me.
Doesn’t work all the time
Mine works fine when on house wife, as soon as I switch to cellular data, it wont open!!!
Notifications work but can’t operate garage opener
I get notifications fine, but can’t open/close using the app
I love the opener
The opener is great, I really love it. But the app sometimes won’t work nor open the garage. If I had to rely solely on the app i must be out of my home 90% of the time.
Connection Failed
Cannot Sign Up or Sign In or even Forgot Password. Error given; “Connection failed”

Taking back to store tomorrow.
