QR code Scan Location

Thank you for your review. Parents need to scan two codes to be able to sign children in and out using this app on their smartphone as it designed. The first is the KinderSmart Sponsor Registration form. You can find this on the Sponsor Detail Page in KinderConnect. The second code they need to scan is the provider mobile sign in sheet. You can find that under the reports section of KinderConnect. This is the same QR code that you scanned into the tablet second to complete its registration process and you should have it available for parents to scan with their phones if they choose to use their phones. Once they scan that it will allow them to check children in and out. No further physical sheets necessary. The tablet does not use WiFi to record the location of the transaction. It uses the tablet’s GPS system. This is why you must turn on the navigation settings when you are setting up the app. If there is no WiFi at the provider’s location, the tablet will function in offline mode, it will collect the sign in and out times and the location based on the GPS reading at the moment the sponsor signed the child in or out and store it. When the tablet does connect to WiFi again it will upload the attendance and the location data it has stored to the KinderConenct website. Based on what you are describing here, there should not be any issues with it reporting the wrong location.
