Caution

Used this app in Italy, unable to pay unless used a European bank card.
Tried international Wise visa card and international HSBC card, both would not work. But then tied Finland bank card and worked.
I believe that only European cards will work with this app.

Dreadful experience

Placing charging points in underground car parks with no phone signal is genius. Three hours of my day lost having to run up and down to stairs to get a signal, to start the charging, only to get back to the charging station and the cable won’t release. The app crashed constantly too. Dire experience. Going back to petrol.

Not complicated enough

This app needs more steps to enable vehicle charging. Half an hour to setup an app to charge a vehicle is far too easy, we need more steps and convolutions to get the most benefit from using an electric vehicle. Plus the app errors and doesn’t show charging history

App demands far too much private info and fails to accept valid ID number. Hours wasted!

The worst app I’ve ever used

The first time I used this app, I spent more time trying to set it up and start the charger than I did actually charging the car. It’s absurd.

This app is, without a doubt, the worst I’ve ever come across. You can clearly tell it’s “made in Spain,” full of bugs and issues. It doesn’t allow you to change your billing information or address, and it even insists on setting my country to Spain, when I’m actually not from Spain. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Another major issue is that you can’t check the price of the charging card before placing the order. It takes you straight to the payment system without giving any information about the terms or costs, and as I mentioned, it doesn’t let you modify shipping addresses or anything else.

Worst of all, the app crashes constantly. Yesterday, I tried for over half an hour to charge my car, and the app just kept failing. In the end, it was impossible to charge it. Strangely, today, when I didn’t need to charge, the app worked perfectly. It’s a complete disaster.

Needlessly complicated

To its credit, this app did at least allow me to charge my car eventually - but only after some frustration. These included insisting I was Spanish (sadly, I’m not, and you couldn’t change it); asking me for a passport number (my UK one seemed to work) and entering the address of my Spanish rental accommodation, as my home one wouldn’t work. In short - provided you lie to it through your teeth, but supply a valid credit card, it will work. This is not sensible. Seriously off putting for someone using it for the first time.

Paid Fee But Can’t Charge

Bought an Electric Car, signed up for the App. Paid subscription but still can’t charge my car on the Endesa Stations. Very frustrating as I can’t get any help. Fortunately we still have a petrol car, but if not we would not be going anywhere.

Not tourist friendly at all. Kiwi in Italy.

Wasted hours attempting to use.
Have made multiple attempts to get ever single detail 100% correct yet I still get failures.
Tried as a guest and as an account holder.
No explanation at any time.
Left in the lurch for charging.
Have previously used another company charge app in Italy and worked ok.

Frustrated beyond belief

I have had this juice box since 2017 and with the original app there was never a problem. Since the forced migration to the enelXway app, I've had it not charge at all overnight ( which is not what you want to find out in the morning), take 20 minutes to connect to wifi and my car which means I have to hover by the juice box and keep checking the app before I feel safe to assume it's working; and then tonight it just wouldn't connect at all.
I reloaded the app, I power cycled the juice box, I re-entered the wifi details and reset the router many times over the course of an hour. I finally reached customer service and had to walk through each of those steps again. Then I was asked to connect to a set up web page. I tried 3 different browsers and got 'page not found' each time. Finally the customer service guy disconnected the box from the app. So now there's no ability to schedule or monitor but I think I may keep it this way. App is worse than useless.

Complete fail

Since owning an iPhone in 2007, I can confidently say that this is the worst app I have used. Creating an account took the building manager, someone else in the building who has used it, and the garage attendant over an hour to try to figure out the poorly designed process, which kept failing. Finally, we got it set up and charged.

When I went back to charge a second time, it had no idea who I was, and it would not charge. Nothing we did with troubleshooting worked. So we deleted the app and downloaded and installed it again. Once again, it had no idea who I was after I entered my credentials. It made me create a new account, but accepted the same email that I used the first time. What?

Unfortunately, none of this made a difference. The app says that my car is “charging,” even though it’s not even plugged in. When I plug it in it doesn’t do anything, though it still says that it’s charging. The building manager and I are trying to work with the sloth-like tech support to get this hot mess working. They take at least two days to get back with you each time. So if you’re out of a charge, you’re out of luck, like me, now.
