Harks back to the simplicity of championship manager before football manager went down a rabbit hole of millions of stats and options.

Lots of nostalgia, not much game, and what little game you do get doesn’t even work properly. It’s just a randomiser that collects results and then lists them in a football aesthetic. Nothing you do really matters. The results are random and if you dare to save scum the stupid, illogical and completely nonsensical results you get, the game punishes you by injuring and red carding your players at random. If you give us so few methods to control our outcomes, I expect very consistent results. You can get away with randomness when your game has a vast array of control mechanisms one can choose to stack percentages with, but when all you have is a handful of numbers to control, you can’t afford to make the results inconsistent because then the mechanics seems pointless and ineffectual.
If the game was a little more consistent or had more mechanics to stack percentages with, it would be a lot more fun. But as it stands, it’s a bad game that is only interesting for the nostalgia factor.Show lessMacCloud9
Love the game, three requests
This is a great game, anybody thinking about getting it absolutely should. However, I have three things that I think would be great additions to the game, if possible.
1. More seasons for Portugal: Portugal is a huge league, one of the best in the world. However, there is only one starting season available for the Portuguese league. I think adding a few more would be awesome!
2. Promotion/Relegation: Promotion and Relegation is an important aspect of many leagues around the world. If it was in this game, it’d be so cool!
3. Europa League/UEFA Cup: This game already has the Champions League/European Cup. I think adding the secondary European competition would enhance it even more!Show lessb/4)?

Great feedback, thank you. The new game RFM 2024 is nearly ready. That has 3+ divisions in our first 5 countries. Portugal will be included in the next release later in the year. Scotland and the Netherlands are also in phase 2. Phase 1 is England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France. So addicted to this game one of the best I’ve played. I’ve given it 4 stars only because there is a few things I’d like to see added which would make this game unbeatable:
- the ability to search/filter any player from around the world
- contracts so player wages don’t magically increase year on year

Thank you for your fantastic review. We have a new game out in about 4 weeks. For this we have added some tactical in-play choices, so you can control how your team play. We will then be adding in-play ratings for players and also some filters for transfers. These will be done after launch. The game does include all divisions and more cup competitions as well. Love the game. I think there should be a search bar to find any player you would want in your team. And also there needs to be more updated with how well you players are playing and that if there in form there transfer fee should be higher.

Really love this game. It’s quality. Real players and leagues. The ads recently are annoying as you cant click the X after you’re reward so you lose the reward by having to shut the game off because it’s just stuck on the add screen. Also. When you have an injured player, it would be better if the user could choose the sub rather that the best player on the bench coming on. These are usually players being rested or unfit. Just a few moans there but the game is brilliant. Been playing it years nowShow lessSinew7

Thank you for your review. Some of the ads you just need to wait a little longer, at the end it does then allow you to close the ad so that you get your reward. The new game we are building will give you more in game control. Regards Coast Gaming
