  • Easy to have fun and play with no catches

It’s basic, uncomplicated, fun and you get sucked in to your team. So it has all you need if you haven’t got time for the stats and tediousness of the old manager games like “football manager” and “championship manager” that we had the time and patience for when we were young. This is immersing enough and even if you bought everything they offer in the shop - it still won’t break the bank like other games do. I made some purchases as I appreciate the devs not being greedy and that it takes a lot of time and effort to make stuff like this: so if I enjoy it, it’s only fair to contribute. And they deserve it. Nice work! 👌

Thank you so much for that review, it means a lot to all the team. We will keep working on the game for you and have 5 new seasons nearly ready to go live. This will include some new challenges where you can win some legends to collect keep, meaning you get the choice of adding them to your squad. thanks again and really hope you continue to enjoy the game, regards Coast Gaming
  • Great game

Having a he different country leagues makes it a great game

Great thanks a lot. We also have an International version out, it's called International Football Manager. Regards Coast Gaming
  • Addictive

Don’t get me wrong, there are a few glitches to this game - opposition’s goalie coming on for an outfield player, automatic substitutes putting an already subbed player on then unable to re-sub and duplicate players (Koke in MLS) or players from wrong era ie Marco van Basten playing as a 30yo in 2015 MLS
But this game is great, why are people giving negative reviews about scorelines???
Football is that random in real life, without the out of the ordinary results there wouldn’t be any fairy tale results and same team winning everything.
How can Brentford and Brighton beat Man Utd but Arsenal lose to Man Utd.
If you don’t understand or appreciate football then don’t play this game.

Thank you for your review. We have fixed quite a few of the issues you mention in our new game RFM International Football, we are planning to now upgrade RFM to the same standard. As you say the game is based on probabilities so the better your team the more likely you are to win but not always. Regards Coast Gaming
  • Starts off good but then…

Ok, this game seemed like an absolute god send, playing old leagues with old players in the old format. Real clubs, real names the lot.

But after a short while playing you get the sense of how basic this game is, maybe too basic that it almost breaks the game. What I’m talking about is how arbitrary the game is, it doesn’t matter what formation you use, what players you use, you can lose to a 20th position team 4-0 numerous times. At one point I had possibly the greatest team of all time, with stats that blew the other teams out the water, yet I was still finishing 6th in the league. And only winning the UCL once, that was pure luck. Non of it seems to add up. I had Ronaldo, Aguero, and RVP up front, beating Real Madrid, yet I can’t amass enough points in the league to enter the Champions League. The results just seem to be so random, and formations and signings just don’t seem to count towards anything.

Shame really, cos it would of been an amazing game, but it’s baisicness to the point it becomes so broken just ruins the experience and I won’t be playing again.

(This review is my sole opinion alone)

Thank you for your review. The game is designed to be quick and easy. It is aimed at hitting challenges and then moving onto a new season. There are formations that are more effective and your transfer ability will determine your success. Regards Coast Gaming
  • Good fun but random results ruin it

Loved the first season and just met my target of lower mid table prem and thought I’d found a winner of a game. By the middle of the second season I had a team with the better ratings than anybody at home and better than all but a couple away, yet missed my target of upper midtable perm so was sacked.

I can see how my team loses 4-0 at home to a team with slightly better ratings, but when I have much better ratings, I still lost half my games at home.

With the limited data available to the player, there is too much of a random factor at play, or the game has hidden weighted advantages and disadvantages based on who the team is and that makes it no fun for a quick time killer.

  • Fantastic game

Fantastic game. Need to be able to check player ratings during the game to see which ones aren’t performing.

Thank you for your review. We have big plans in 2023 and hope to release some gameplay extensions and a brand new RFM 2, which will have many more features. In 2022 we released International Football Manager, so please give that a go if you get the chance. Regards Coast Gaming
  • Great game

Great game that doesn’t take hours to play one match. You don’t have to continually have to pay real money to progress in the game. You don’t even need to watch and ads if you don’t want to, but it’s beneficial. Love it it’s really got to get a game that you can actually enjoy playing.

    A couple of improvement suggestions:
    1) when a player is injured during the game it would be good if we could choose who to bring on as a sub.
    2) it would be good to see individual’s ratings during the match so you can sub those not preforming if you want to.

I’ve installed this twice, and it doesn’t go past the intro loading screen.
