  • Fantastic app - can’t wait for more

This is a great, slimmed down version of old CM games. Easy to get in to, simple to play, and good memories. Really hoping they continue to add more seasons.
  • great game

where have you been. it would be cool if future stars are brought into the game as youth. it may be the case.. i’m a few seasons in and it looks like all regens
  • Like a boy on Christmas

Growing up, championship manager was my get away. Discovering this app and the way the creator has brought the game back to life in the form of an app is a slice of heaven. It’s got me hooked.
  • Great fun

    Great fun
  • Basic but Amazing

Exactly this, the game is very basic. You only pick 11 players and only manage fitness, injuries and suspensions. You have an unlimited transfer window and can only search for players from your selected league, but after every game you are shown a few foreign players to buy which is pure RNG. Transfers are glitchy, both me and Chelsea brought Deco this season (high twin rate). Season takes half hour.
But... and its a big but... the game feels like something I felt as a youngster playing Championship Manager, its amazing for on the go. Sure if want the FM experience on a mobile, this is not it. But if you want to click away, win the league season after season, win game after game (mostly, theres still the 1-0 loss randomly!) and amass a team of Galacticos, this IS the game for you.

  • There is almost no leagues and years available

The idea of this game is great but unfortunately only three leagues and very few years are available. It feels they released the game too early
  • Really enjoyable

For a long time I’ve been looking for a version of Champ/Football Manager available on mobile that was set in the 90s. This is as close to what I’m looking for as anything I’ve come across.

Really easy to navigate - there’s no messing around with tactics or press conferences, no need for scouting or micromanaging individual players. You can complete a season (or “challenge”) in around 20 minutes. And it’s barely a drain on your battery life too.

It’s not completely flawless - you can buy a player and find the same player elsewhere in the game too (Didier Drogba played for and against me in the same match, for example) - and a lack of cup competitions and relegations is noticeable (winning a cup might act as an alternative acceptable challenge for the board to allow you to continue to build a team), but by and large this is a really enjoyable game!
