Good start, needs improvement
Simply put: it takes way too long for podcasts to update. I’m still waiting for new episodes to populate in my feed when they’ve been available for listen or download for a day or more on other platforms. Other than that major deal-breaking problem it looks great, runs fine, and is intuitive and easy to operate. If one does not mind that it is effectively a broken app when it comes to timely availability of content, then this is probably the app for you.
This app will probably be in the Top-3 podcasts apps once they can correct this issue. Until then there’s no reason to use an app which will only be reliably late with content.

Should be better for paying customers
Depending on WiFi or just what’s going on at their end, podcast episodes won’t show up in the list (yes, WITH the correct filter).
Lots of errors when downloading the episodes to the app, if I had to guess maybe 33% of the episodes have errors or the download offloads so I have to redownload (and yes, I don’t have “delete after listening” enabled).

The best in the business
The best podcast app going around. Podcast 2.0 compatible and also cross platform compatible. So many features of podcasting 2.0 are supported.If you want to support the future of podcasts this app and protocol is the way to do it.
Supporting Open Source!
I’m choosing this over Overcast because it has a web player that’s still being actively developed (albeit slowly). Solid product overall!

Fantastic app
Love the app, but it sometimes just literally will not work.
Love the app, bought the paid version because I want to support small developers. But geez, quite often the app literally just does not load anything. For a day or two I cannot listen to anything it’s really frustrating. And no it’s not my service or phone or whatever, it’s only this app that refuses to work. iPhone 12 Pro for reference. Please please fix, I may be forced to cancel my subscription because what’s the use if it doesn’t work.

Great app, one request
Paid for yearly sub. Hands down best app with loads of features for sharing, jumping chapters, chapter art etc. Podcast 2.0 thanks godfather Adam Curry.
One feature request , please angle swipe down or back once you are on playing podcast screen. Podcast and episode list allows this but if you are in the playing episode you have to hit the down arrow to return and when you are trying to use one hand this makes it difficult

Great interface, awesome features
Overall, it’s a great app. There’s so many good features that other podcasting platform don’t have. I recommend this platform for everybody because as part of podcasting 2.0 it means you’re going to find podcast here that you won’t find elsewhere.

I’ve been listening to podcasts since the beginning. I have used every app and occasionally do a reassessment test by trying them all again and comparing them against each other.
Podverse is my favorite and has been for a couple of years. I love that you can make clips from podcasts and see the clips that other people have made, too. This is useful if you don’t have time to listen to a whole show. You can make clips and play podcasts from your computer browser. Making clips from the computer is really easy compared to making clips on a mobile device using other apps.
Podverse supports all of the new Podcasting 2.0 features like transcripts, chapters, and cross platform comments. The developer is very responsive and works hard to make a nice app. ❤️❤️❤️
