App has been great untill…
the app was amazing making my life easy but now all of a sudden it’s saying network error even tho my network is fine so it won’t let me now u we Alexa to control my lights and plug I see in other reviews aswell they had this problem after the iOS 15 tho mine took affect like two weeks after the update anyway please could you look into this and make some thought of fix thank you great app easy to use and set up though but of course my views will change if this doesn’t get fixed

Return the product
Unfortunately TCP abandons their lighting product leaving users abandoned. If you just bought a product from TCP return it or you may be left stranded when the company remotely updates your bridge, removing one of the ways to control the product you paid for, and then removes the app, the other way to control them. Fortunately the open source community has tried to restore some of the functionality, but this is shameful.

New layout same comvinience
My switch suddenly stopped working and I was unable to fin it in the app when searching new devices. I then realised the app has a mew design with more options to the side. I was in the bulb section and once I moved to the right section, I could find my product and reconnect.

Overall it’s a great app and pretty easy to connect manually with the directions provided
But, after about two weeks of using my light was suddenly offline and I tried to turn my lamp off and back on but it wouldn’t connect again. My WiFi was on. My Bluetooth was on. I tried to disconnect the light from the app and then reconnect it using the manual set up but it wouldn’t connect. I don’t know what it wrong with my light, if anyone knows how to fix it that wouldn’t be much appreciated.

Pretty Good
App does most what you would want in a single interface. The hardware is good too just disappointed they’ve reduced their range to lights only. I’d give the app a 5 but there are a couple of things missing. Mostly, only seem to be able to delay a timer based n an event but don’t have the option do set a number of minutes before an event ie sunrise or sunset. Which pretty much cover everything i need if that worked. Also, not worked out the logic based on an event where a time is before or after something like sunset or sunrise ie I don’t need the lights to come on when the mornings are lighter.

I downloaded this app for Christmas since I got gifted TCP LED lights and I was really exited to set it up. As I was setting it up, the part where the LED lights connect to the wires kept coming out. I used blu tac to stick it to the wall and it was fine, then came the part to set up the app. It caused me to have a mental breakdown, as I went to add a device the LED lights part didn’t come up, so I just pressed light device. It needed me to verify my WiFi and I don’t know why, there was no need. It started connecting once it found a device. After 10 mins, it connects. But it doesn’t, it says that no device was found... Then why did you tell me?! Overall I think this app needs a lot of work.

I recently purchased couple light bulbs which happens to work with this app so I downloaded the app upon checking for compatibility with my phone now I can get onto the app from my phones search bar but the isn’t on my home screen. The app gives you the option to manually get rooms on your home screen but it just won’t work.
Other then that hopefully can get some help the app works as it should when you find it

Good enough
A bit fiddly to set up but once it is up and running you can set it and forget it.
All worked well until a recent update which meant I couldn’t see any time settings. But after a few emails back and forth to customer service the outcome was to fix the issue with an update.
They have now done the update and the App and smart socket works again, thanks.

White ink on white background
App registration is impossible, as that page has white ink on white background. I can’t see what I’m typing. Useless.
It alright
Its a bit slow sometimes and when i first got it it disconnected itself and i had to just turn it on and off from the switch on the wall and then it just started to do the strobe thing and still wouldn’t let me connect so i left it off for about a week then it worked fine until now and is still working fine. I think they could improve the home screen of it a bit like make it so the on button is bigger and u can pick between the colour and white light from the widget window the lock screen but
