Fantastic App!!
I have been studying Spanish often on for the last 15 years and without a doubt my biggest struggle is: CONJUGATIONS! This app does a great job of quizzing you in conjugation changes as you move through the tenses and gives you a greater familiarity with those tricky irregular verbs. Practice makes perfect and this app is significantly better than dryly reading through the classic Barrons 500 most commonly used Spanish verbs.Show lessMcGoo Jr
Great app
I’ve been using Ella verbs for a couple of weeks and my Spanish vocabulary has improved immensely. I’m only on level 9 but the way verbs and the conjugations are explained and set out with easy to follow lessons makes learning easier. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can learn any language without effort because you can’t but Ella will help you along in a friendly and easy to understand way. Get the app, even if it’s just for the verbs. You won’t be sorry and it’s well worth the small cost.Show lessPattyg368

I love this app, it is exactly what I needed (need) to help me quiz myself on verb conjugations in all tenses. It also gives great info in each tense on what the irregular verbs are and the changes and in which person. I have plenty of apps for vocabulary and even grammar but none like this. A great way to kickstart your Spanish and quickly progress!
Ella’s verbs was exactly what I needed to kickstart my deteriorating Spanish during lockdown. I’d already started to ‘lose my verbs’ before lockdown as I am self employed and was struggling to find time.. or energy to study. Lockdown just made it worse, as I couldn’t practise speaking with locals. Ella’s verbs is great, as I can spend a small amount of time each day and still make progress. I practise yoga, go for a walk, have breakfast and then spend 15 minutes ‘with Ella’ before starting work. It’s really helping. Thank you!🙏Show lessgeeeeebeeee

I had been feeling overwhelmed with the many conjugations that are necessary to master. I was studying every day but the conjugations were just not sticking with me.
Ella Verbs to the rescue. The app is well organized, simple to use and breaks all these verbs into manageable categories with quizzes that I can customize to review my weak spots. I no longer feel overwhelmed and I actually look forward to opening the app everyday.Show lessKogogirl
Conjugation is Fun!
Actually it is not, but this app forces you to work on things that you really need to focus on to learn Spanish.
I love how they have focused on the one item that Is very difficult in the Spanish language and made it just enough like a game that I login and work daily.
Also, the reminders to go back and practice skills is amazing. I have completed all the levels but I check in daily to make sure I practice my skills that I haven’t practiced recently.
This app has made a difference in my ability to speak as well! I noticed the change after about a week of consistently using the app.

The lessons in the app are great! I love how there are different sections so that you can make sure you’ve got the information thoroughly understood and memorized before moving on. I also love how you can test yourself on individual verbs if you’re having trouble with one in particular.Xpertdesperado
The struggle is over!
I have been trying (albeit half-heartedly) for years to master the Spanish verb congratulations with little success. The Ella Verb app has given me new hope that I might soon be able to put together grammatically correct sentences! I am rather competitive and I like that I can only miss one question in order to move to the next level. It forces me to really know the verb tense before moving on to the next. I have the app on my phone have used it whenever I have a few spare minutes...much more productive than a game of solitaire!! I highly recommend this app!Show lessExpat Kathryn

Ella verbs is a great app for learning verb conjugations and explanations of the tenses. I've tried many language apps, and this is the one area that most apps lack in. Also, the lessons are short and concise with charts too for visual learners. I use this app in conjunction with another app for learning vocabulary and phrases. Because without learning verb conjugation/tenses in Spanish, your language comprehension level will take much longer to improve.

Useful at all stages of learning
I have been studying Spanish for 4 years, although more seriously for about a year. I hate learning verb conjugations, and it is not easy to do from a book, just so boring. I came across this app and find it great for me. I spend 15 minutes a day reviewing, learning and testing my skills. It’s great for that and has helped me improve a great deal, and in a much more enjoyable way. One improvement that would help me: the app only lets you move onto other tenses once you have mastered the level you are at. This I find a little frustrating because I have some level of knowledge of all the tenses, just not enough. I think it would be better if you could refer to, and practice, all tenses as you need them, although I accept that for someone just setting out they need to walk before they can run. It's true that for beginners we like to guide them through tenses from "easiest to hardest" but I understand this isn't for everyone. If you'd like to bypass this setting, you can do so within Settings > Change Level! Then you'll be able to pop in and out of whatever tense you prefer :) Happy learning! All the best, Jane & Brian
