Customization and learning metrics are fantastic
This is truly a learning app, going way beyond conventional flashcard programs. You can use the built-in quizzes, or customize by choosing which verbs, which tenses, and choosing the testing format. It shows you how well you are doing in each tense and prompts you when you need more practice in any of them. The app is regularly updated with useful features, and the developers are very responsive to feedback over email.
The app can be frustrating to use early on because it is very structured in unlocking a set sequence of tenses, making you prove basic competency in each tense before it will let you move on to the next. But it’s worth it if you stay with it. After a year, I’ve unlocked 12 tenses and practice them regularly. I am so much more confident now, it is amazing.Show less40-something

Guys, I just moved to Mexico for work and I’m a self-taught Spanish learner. This app is AMAZING! Verbs are so crucial in my day-to-day life. The way you’ve broken everything down into easily digestible little packages, the separation of irregular verbs from regular ones, stem changes, even the clean interface without ads and garish colours. This is a fantastic app and well worth the monthly fee. Verbs are the most difficult thing about Spanish and this app’s focus on verbs is well-placed. The app is intuitive, intelligent and really helpful in building up your knowledge of verbs. After months of use, I only just discovered the smart quizzes!! A wonderful element and I really look forward to digging into those. Yes, I could do with more phrases because I use the app so much that I do get some familiar ones, but overall this is essential for anyone really seriously trying to learn the language. I didn’t realize how much I would like this app when I started the free trial. It is evident a lot of thought and effort has gone into making it an excellent learning tool. There is some teaching of verb conjugation, but what I find most useful are the quizzes. Right now I am practicing using the quiz which presents example sentences with a verb missing (but you can see the infinitive) and you need to choose whether to use the preterite or imperfect past tense, and to write it out with correct accent marks. After you choose, the correct verb is spoken and written. Another favorite right now is choosing when to use ser and estar. The default settings use 100 common verbs, but apparently you can change those settings to over 1000 verbs. I haven’t used all the verb conjugation forms yet, but a quick perusal made me think they have them all. Highly satisfied, and hoping they will offer an affordable lifetime purchase option for this app. Well worth your time to accept the free offer and try it out!Show less333Tz

Exactly what I wanted
Verb conjugation intimidates me. Part of this is that learning verb conjugations is like a vague endless part of my Spanish learning. With this app I could see a clear path forward and see my progress, plus it’s a great reference. It does all this with a straightforward, clean interface, no gimmicks— and dark mode which has become a must for me (I practice at night)… and the price is right.Show lessmetacognitivesquid

I love this app. Verb conjugation is one of the most difficult aspects of learning the Spanish. This app definitely accelerates that process. The app is very well designed and constantly evolving and improving. The designers communicate via video to the users concerning updates and are always looking for user feedback. When you reach out to them, they respond quickly and are always helpful.

so far this app is in my top 3 go to apps in learning spanish, But it has lots of potential, like audio and maybe flashcards this can be the all in 1 spanish learning app.ryanj81

I’m an intermediate speaker who understands Spanish really well (grew up with it) but never practiced speaking enough. So verb conjugations have always frustrated me. And yet, writing out verb charts and other traditional methods were too easy. I needed to practice quick recall. This app is exactly what I needed. I’m using it every day and can already speak more confidently. I have noticed a glitch where I pass a level up quiz and the app doesn’t remember that I passed it. But I can skip to the next level anyway so it’s not a big deal. I will definitely complete the app and use it even after for recall/memory practice.Show lessAprilealba99
