Game changer

Excellent achat! À facilité grandement la routine du dodo de notre plus vieille! Ainsi elle peut avoir son histoire au complet même si bébé pleure! Diminution marquée des insomnies avec Yoto sleep radio! Vraiment un bel outil! Beaucoup de fonctionnalités qui nous permettent de développer l’autonomie de l’enfant par rapport au coucher et au lever, remplace la go clock, la machine de bruit blanc et le réveil matin! Un must pour nous!

Cheers To Yoto

Very engaging content for little ones and parents^^ Yoto brings many moments of peace and laughter to a household of helicopter moms and dads all around the world 🎉🎉 w/or without the speaker. Better than any of those useless/creepy apps most children are unfortunately exposed to. Yoto is a hero to society that doesn’t wear a cape! Every child should have one!

Great idea but lots of bugs and problems

Works fine when at home and on wifi, but regularly doesn’t work when offline, cards won’t play, have t loaded properly etc. very slow customer support (ie if you’re wanting this for a trip, make sure you have multiple days and trial runs to fix all bugs first. We’ve yet to have this work on a trip/ without wifi which is what we bought it for)

It may be that your downloads got blocked for some reason but if you contact us we can help to diagnose the problem and get you up and running again. My kids love their Yotos

This is a really neat device. It works pretty well and my kids love it.

There are a few issues I’d like to point out

First off, the app I find very confusing to use. It’s kinda all over the place with its layout.

There needs to be a quick way to skip an alarm for a day. Like if the kids have a PA day or are home sick from school. The only solution I have found was to go into the alarm and just set its volume to minimum. Hoping I remember to raise the volume up for the next day.

Why when I click players can I go into what a unit is playing from there? You can go to settings but nothing else. Seems odd to not have that page be able to easily access what the player is playing and what not.

The audio while playing the sleep radio can vary wildly. Sometimes it too quite and sometimes it’s really loud. Then sometimes it’s perfect.

I wish you could set the end alarm to activate when you flip the device up

Hi BOWB4ZOD - thanks for dropping by and sharing your feedback. To respond to all of your comments - we are working to allow you to disable/enable alarms. The players tab is for account management and player settings. What is playing can be found at the top level navigation via the minimised player and device picker that sits above the navigation bar. Tap the device picker to choose a player or your phone and tap the minimised player to expand to see what is playing with greater control. We do try to normalise audio to ensure it's consistent but with 3rd party streams, it's not always possible. Great for the working parent!

We have a 4 year old daughter who has to come with us to work sometimes. We are a family who really tries to limit screen time. So our daughters Yoto has been perfect for listening to books and music for your daughter as we are on the go…. We also live the Yoto daily!!

The Yotos are so well built. (I’ve seen them hit the floor a few times.) Excellent for kids! We have seven children and a Yoto for each one. They use them so much. The controls are simple and easy for them to use. The parental controls in the app are simple to use also. Thanks Yoto for making a great product!

Needs improvement

The idea is great and we use our Yoto box frequently. However the system needs improvement. I want the box to be offline when the kids use it. It should be more obvious if the internet is on/off and it should not turn on automatically. The only audio we play on Yoto are the cards we bought or recorded ourselves to avoid advertisements and other unintended materials. In contrast to CDs or cassettes, which used to be a universal format for audio entertainment, the content in Yoto and similar apps is extremely limited based on licensing contracts. Or parents have to invest much more time and money than expected to buy and transfer other audio formats onto Yoto cards. When I make my own playlist and add titles to it later, it will only show the new titles in the app, but not on the linked card. Please make the app more user friendly!

Happily we're currently working on make your own in the app to make this easier to use with less friction and you'll continue to see incremental improvements over the coming weeks alongside other app updates. When you edit a playlist it does update immediately but it may take some time to download to the player - if you leave the player online and idle it should happen quickly. We're always open to suggestions for improvements and you can either submit these to our community site https://yoto.space or you can email hello@yotoplay.com and ask for either Ed (head of mobile) or Kathy (product director) - we're always looking for existing users to interview to show our upcoming designs and we listen to customers for direction for improvements.

Fantastic, best thing I’ve bought.

I’m so happy. My toddler (3yo) wanted so much tv. We got this for Christmas, loads of his favorite story’s and we’ve made cards with songs from movies he likes. We hardly watch any tv now. He’s also learning Bulgarian via a myo from his grandparents. Can’t wait to get into more of the content.

Used daily

There are a few things that we have given to our kids that get used day after day year after year and this would be one of them. We love it because it’s good for helping them wake up in the morning and can use it for alarms or timers as needed, but they enjoy, listening to stories on their own and playing music. Highly recommend. We got the large original player which we use for wake up lights, but if you don’t need that perhaps the mini is all you need.
