Everything seems to work as expected (actually better than expected)

The 02 ring looked cool, and I was bummed to see an app with ratings as bad as this. I’ve been using this app for a week and have literally zero complaints. This ring gives very good data on pulse rate and blood oxygen levels. There are really useful write ups after every day that help you analyze the data, and the graphs can be viewed from a whole night perspective or viewed in. I honestly can’t think of any desired features it doesn’t have. So I’m not sure why the universal response for this app is as negative as it is.

Terrible, Don't Buy

Junk App! Security concerns, poor functioning. Your health data sent to China. DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. Before December 2022 this app was solid, easy to use, clear graphics and easy zoom feature. There was no registration required. Back then I rated it 5 stars. Then they tried to monetize it and collect your data. They absolutely ruined it. Now it's amateur looking, glitchy, user interface is sub standard and you must register. There are security concerns because once registered your health information, location, etc are available to whoever is in control of the data in a foreign country. The company rolled out this terrible version starting in December 2022 without warning users. Reviews immediately went to 1 Star. Even though the app hasn't improved, there are a suspicious number of 5 Star reviews. That is suspicious.

It works great!

I gave it only four stars because I could not figure out how to wear it on my right hand and be able to read the display and because it is not capable of connecting to an iPhone and iPad at the same time. Other than that, it so works beautifully. When the next version of iPadOS comes out, it will have the Health app, and that will be my primary for collecting the data as the app looks a lot better on the iPad. But it has shown that my Apple Watch is reading at times as much as 4 points higher, as it does when I am at the doctor’s office, and they take my SpO₂. I have yet to validate it against the measurements taken at the doctor’s office, but I have an appointment soon where I will be able to do that. I also would like a 24/7 model that does not restrict the use of my fingers. Perhaps a wrist model that is a bit larger to accommodate 24/7 use.

EDIT1: After installing iPadOS 17, I expected Vihealth to send it's data to the Heath app. After all, it is the one place all of my health metrics from all of my devices, including non-Apple devices, send their data. As a result, I have dropped my reading from foe stars to three. It appears that they changed the ability to store the data as it is classified as “inactive” in the list of data sources for SpO₂.

CPAP alternative

10 years ago I went though a period if sleep apnea, waking up gasping for air. A sleep study confirmed it and recommended a CPAP machine which I declined. Later I bought the O2 ring which I credit for reducing sleep apnea episodes to almost zero. I think the alarm waking me up when the O2 level goes down to 88% has somehow trained my brain to avoid that. I can’t prove this but I sleep much better and that’s good enough for me. Notes: 1. Registration is not required to use the app. You can create a user without registering or use it unnamed. 2. I have not experienced pairing problems. 3. The interface was better before that last update.

Issues with Apple Health integration for multiple users

Doesn’t differentiate between multiple users on a single iPhone.Apple health inputs data of all users into the Apple ID user of the phone rendering it useless. Also the app/ BP device creates mix of each other user data when connected to different iPhones. It’s a critical failure to multi user functionality.Medical grade apps / devices shouldn’t be released with improper testing and development.

Alerts don’t work when phone is locked

I bought this to monitor my 5 year old but if my phone is locked I don’t get any alerts.
It is not practical to have your phone unlocked all the time. Can this be something to look into?
A phone notification would be much better so that the phone can be locked but notifications still come through.

Simple and effective for my Wellue ECG device

I’m keeping an eye at heart rhythm and rate while I have an Afib episode, and afterwards to make sure I don’t raise my heart rate too much. It’s great the device buzzes when going over a rate you can define yourself. Message to developers: please do not change how the app works. It’s perfect! The heart rate screen and ECG screen are very handy. The only thing I wish for is a much longer (scrollable) timeline for heart rate.

Update June 10, 2023: WOW! They added in-app ECG analysis. Game changer! I will be traveling over summer it will be a great tool! Message fo developers: please please please do not remove this feature. I’d like to be able to be able to use it through August of this year.

Daily blood oxygen charts useless

I purchased the oxymeter so I could print monthly charts for my health care professional. All I can do is print one chart per test session. This means for every test I do per day I get a chart for each test. I need to print a monthly chart showing all data over a monthly period. How do I do this or amend this app to print monthly charts.

Sinus Tachycardia - app defect.

The ECG function allows AI analysis resulting in a report.

The results which display “Sinus Rhythm” remain present with the AI report available. However those which result in “Sinus Tachycardia” shortly revert to the previous status before AI was performed. Instead the View report button changes back to AI Analysis which forever claims “AI Analysis in progress, please check back later” - this never completes or changes back to the original AI Sinus Tachycardia status/report.

Please kindly investigate and resolve. Many thanks.
