Reviews of DreamMapper

  • No Apple Health

Was trying to find out why my sleep in the health app didn’t match up with what the DreamMapper app said, and I was dumbfounded when I realized it never hooked up together. Why? It’s not that hard even…you can do better especially at the price point of these machines….it should do some laundry or dishes for me while I’m sleeping at that price point. You could at least put a little effort in and give us our health data the way that we are used to seeing it. Please add this ability so we can use the data! Even if there is a way to export it so we can then import it ourselves, then I will up the stars.

Other than that, I haven’t had any of the issues that others have mentioned with the account and such. Added and hooked up to machine easily. Every once in a while it will pop up and not be able to connect to the Phillips server but it will still download the data from the night before. Sort of wish that process was automated. My machine stays on all the time so there’s no reason why you can’t automate it in a background process but that’s asking too much probably. I don’t necessarily love the machine but it helps and I am sleeping better now…and I’m not dying in my sleep anymore lol. Thanks for that!
  • It’s ok but could be better

The Phillips dreamstation is probably the best out of all of the Cpap machines when it comes to quick data transfers, the resmed took hours vs this machine that takes 1-2 minutes.. however I feel like this app could be MUCH better. Being as it is a sleep tracking device Phillips should make an optional sleep tracking ring that tracks your oxygen levels, hours of actual sleep, time spent in each stage of sleep “light, deep, rem” and the number of times you woke up. Similar to what my tempur pedic mattress does. I know there are other device like my mattress that tracks that stuff but I feel like it would be beneficial for people to have it all stored in one place. A lot of people would buy that product if it was offered.
  • Version 2.30 is broken (NOW FIXED)

Latest version of app no longer downloads correct stats from my DreamStation 2. Just started having issues with latest app update (which is oddly no longer described in English on the U.S. App Store, too?). Are time zones jacked up, perhaps? My DreamStation says I used the device for 6:32 two days ago, 7:50 one day ago, and 9:24 last night. The app, after re-connecting to my device multiple times via Bluetooth, says 6:32 two nights ago, zero one night ago, and 1:28 last night. I’ve tried rebooting my CPaP, deleting the app, re-pairing the devices, rebooting my phone: nothing has fixed the data on the app. So my question: is my doctor going to think I’m not using my device?

EDIT: 2.30.1 was resealed a few days later and seems to have corrected these bugs. Good job, developers.
