  • Helpful ap

The journal part of this tracker helps me keep the details of my cycles straight. This helps me trace my hormone fluctuations and moods. It helps track catamenial epilepsy too
  • Pauses music whenever I open it

This is a good app but it pauses ny music every single time I open the app, or switch to it from another app. It's infuriating because I listen to music all the time while on my phone and it's not even playing any sounds, just pausing the music. And no, there's no setting to turn this off. So every time I open the app I have to manually unpause my music.

  • Must have for women!

Before getting this app, I wasn’t the best at understanding my body. I had no idea the moon played a crucial role in my menstrual, or that the weather can also be a contributing factor. I also didn’t know that even days/weeks I didn’t have my menstrual, my hormones play a huge part in myself and body. If you need advice, tips, and more understanding of your body, this is the app. Even if you do or think that you do, the insight that the app provides is incredible. You’ll learn more about yourself the more you continue to log your symptoms, the way that you feel and more. You can also add the categories you want to track and how you feel about yourself and things outside yourself, including the world and relationships. This app is a must have for life. There is a pro version in this app, but what I love so much about the app is that even in the free version, there’s so much that helps you and so many cool features. I genuinely believe that the creators of the app care about women and their health. I love this app!

  • Very helpful app

Sometimes lags but they are working to fix it currently and overall very incredibly awesome & extremely helpful app.
  • So far, okay

I just downloaded the app a few hours ago and it seems okay. I’m only using whatever comes on the non-membership platform, which seems to be everything but the videos (2 free per month? That’s pretty low considering there’s a daily program…). I found the app from recommendation inside the native health app on my phone. What I’m not clear on is whether this app syncs with apple health? If not it really should… I have years worth of cycle tracking data in the health app and don’t have an interest in entering data to both that app (which is super fast and easy via my watch) and this one. I would expect that if I log a period day on my watch (into apple health) that it would also show up in this app, but I have a feeling that will not be the case.

Obviously I haven’t gotten to see how the data visualization comes out yet but I’m hoping I can stick with this long enough to see some meaningful outputs. I’m not seeing any settings for push notifications/reminders - this seems like it would be a basic feature for an app such as this.

Overall I really like the concept of this app, it just feels like these basic pieces are missing.

Hey Kylie 👋 We’re working hard on getting notifications live in the next few weeks and are working on providing the option to sync your Health data shortly after. We would love to hear from you at help@wearemoody.com if you have any more feedback on how to make Moody better for you. Best, Team Moody x
  • I like it

been using day two currently. May I make a suggestion? Have a way for the app to send you reminders to check in. Nothing even came up in my iOS settings to get the app to send me notifications.
  • Really Good Tracker

I would love if there was a website version as well, so you could move between your computer and phone. I'd like a few more personalization options for more accurate tracking, like being able to choose more than just low to high, or being able to creat your own main categories outside of Mind, Body, World. This has been my favorite tracking app, though, and am just looking at how to get it to perfect for me.

Hi Gladys 👋 Thanks so much for your feedback, we will consider it for future updates to the app. Please note you can add a checkbox log (yes/no), instead of a slider (high/low), when you create your own custom log. We would love to hear more about how you might use you own custom categories at contact@wearemoody.com. Best, Team Moody x
  • Its good

I really loved the calming simplicity of this app and its focus on self care. My only complaint is that the calendar isnt as functional now which is a bit disappointing. everything else is cool tho and it looks rly nice and worked great for quite a while and still does help me understand my moods very well which makes them easier to deal with💗

  • Liked it before…

The new layout doesn’t work. It doesn’t save information (ie: the order of my customized log list), it selects symptoms when you’re just trying to scroll, there are no dates on the log chart (only a begin and end date), etc. Very disappointed in the update!!
  • Doesn’t use correct terms

I’m struggling to find a cycle tracker that uses the correct terminology for cycle phases and doesn’t stigmatize the process. While this app is helpful, I’m pretty disappointed in some of the verbiage. Calling it ‘Moody’ was a red flag right off the bat, but I’m giving it a chance. I like the daily forecast, and the ability to synchronize the moon phase. I would love to see this on a wheel as many other period apps have, as opposed to a calendar. A wheel allows one to see their entire cycle and each phase as it begins and ends. It prioritizes viewing the *cycle* as a complete process as opposed to the month. I was very disappointed to see the four cycle phases renamed as ‘Bleed’, ‘Rise’, ‘Shift’, and ‘Reflect’. The correct terms are Menstrual, Follicular, Ovulatory, and Luteal… which most women don’t know. Periods have been historically stigmatized, which has robbed us of knowledge of our cycle, and how each phase affects our minds, bodies, and emotions. Why contribute to this stigma by renaming the cycle phases? I’m currently using five different apps, and have explored countless others, searching for one that doesn’t use gimmicky terms. While this app provides a wealth of information, the presentation and lack of correct terminology is disappointing. I’m going to continue using this through my cycle and will update this review if my opinion changes through daily use.
