Really great but...

Sometimes the writing can be buggy. For example currently I am on the Korean character โ€œRAโ€ (which looks a bit like a snake) and the writing is very buggy so I had to disable it in order to proceed. I was looking forward to be able to develop the correct strokes so would be great if this could be looked into.

Love it!

I downloaded this app to learn Korean cuz Iโ€™m a fan of BTS and i want to sing along to their songs properly so I downloaded this app, and honestly I LOVE IT!!!

The app is great I definitely recommend to everyone!!!

Makes learning Hangul easy

Seems hard a first but before you know it, you have memorized all of them

Well worth the $2

This has greatly aided my Korean learning process. I can now recognize characters and even read a bit! I find that practicing once a day is most effective, and it only take about 5-10 minutes. I pair it with Rosetta Stone, and Iโ€™ve found that they work really well together. Highly recommend this app! Itโ€™s very simple but effective.

It Is Diligent In Authenticity

It doesnโ€™t only let you familiarize yourself with the characters, but it also teaches you the correct strokes to write the character. Thatโ€™s important when learning a culture and the correct way to writing a language. At first I had thought the app was faulty because I was drawing the character in 2 strokes, when the correct number of strokes was meant to be 3, and so it didnโ€™t let me move on until I wrote it correctly.

That is the discipline I was looking for in a learning app and I am happy to learn the correct way versus just writing the characters however I initially thought was easiest.

$$$

First level of each section is great but the rest costs money

Love

Omgosh! I love this app! But now I want more combinations available for the soundsโ€” especially the sounds difficult for Americans. I feel like repetition is so key. I would also like each letter separately with the name of the letter and perhaps a pronunciation tip, like sounds like g in front, k in middle and hm isnโ€™t placed at end or like that at the end of a syllable. Advanced app like this would be SO VALUABLE!! practicing the kinesiology of tracing the letters is so great. The voices are nice. Being able to repeat them is awesome sauce. Please make an advance app like this!!
Maybe could also start with writing and pronouncing names and places.
I love you all for creating these apps!!

Dang near perfect

Love this!! My only complaint is I want it to sync across my iPhone and iPad, but it isnโ€™t working quite right. It would make things much easier, since I donโ€™t want to bring my iPad to work with me.

Hopefully this is just a weird me issue and it resolves itself. Otherwise, I can not recommend this app enough!

Good, but some issues

This app is really good for learning your vowels and consonants and figuring out how to apply them to learning Korean. However, it seems like itโ€™s sensitive to some characters, and not to the others. When writing ์•„, ์ด, it doesnโ€™t register the ใ…‡. Also, when I mistake ์œ„ for ์™ธ it doesnโ€™t tell me Iโ€™m wrong because it seems to count the strokes and thatโ€™s it. Itโ€™s good for beginners, but definitely needs work.

Paid for full version - does not work

I just paid for the full version and nothing works. No matter how many times I write the letters it just refreshes the same letter over and over again and I cannot progress on. Useless and to be honest a rip off of the money I literally just spent on it. Really annoyed and will be asking Apple to refund my payment.
