Too much hassle and too much data required.
I’ve been a customer since 2022, and when I tried to book recently, they required an incredible amount of my personal data. My money is green on Hotwire, so why do I need to submit a side to side selfie and front and back of my ID in order to book a room? I was told this was in order to prevent hassle, but this was all hassle.
Also, initially I was kicked off the app in the middle of a verifying myself and had to start over. This resulted in two reservations being made. I had to call customer service twice in order to complete the reservation. It ate up my time. How is this not a hassle?
Customer service was great and effective each time, but the requirements for a room were exceptional and I’m not sure I will be using this site when I have other options.Show lessApp not working…
So, I’ve stayed at a few Sonder locations - Philly, D.C. and LA. Only ever had an issue in Philly, the shower wasn’t working the night we arrived, they got maintenance out in the morning to fix the issue. The problem was worse than expected, so they moved us to a better room in the building.
Anyway…I’m here right now because I was going to start planning for a trip. And, noticed the only page on the app that’s functioning is the ‘Explore’ page. Stays, Chat and Profile page will not load.Show lessFeedback
There is no way to provide feedback or report bugs in the app so I’m doing that here. It appears there is a bug where if you try to login using Google with multi factor authentication and you already have an account that’s connected with an email you get a response that says there’s an account already attached to this email which is fine however, if you try to create a new account using Google multi factor authentication then, it just keeps telling you the same thing that there’s already a account associated but it didn’t let me try with my new accountShow less
