Updates beware! Especially those auto updating!
Been using this snazzy DNS since it came out and due to the rave reviews across technical land. But today, horror of horrors tried using my wireless only IPad Pro 11 to find that the Wi-fi icon was missing. Checked settings and tried connecting to another wi-fi signal and router. First thing I noticed the VPN switch was flipping on and off. Tried rebooting the IPad. Still the same. Only when I managed to check ITunes and updates it clicked. The 1.1.1.1 app has auto-updated. Opened up the 1.1.1.1 to find I had to go through allow or deny etc.. once done Wi-fi sprang back into life. Tried enabling the free Warp and boy that was a bad idea! Internet slowwwwww! Could not pull or push mail from Apple mail without an error message saying it couldn’t connect. Now left on enable 1.1.1.1 only. This is using IOS 12.4.1. Same also happened on my IPhone X on 12.4.1. Unbelievable! Hopefully this will help others before they try a restore. 👍🏻

Not working iOS 13
Love this app. But after upgrading to iOS 13 it is causing me all sorts of network issues. Browsing is really slow, App Store won’t connect etc etc.
Had to disable it and now networks (WiFi and cellular) are working again. iOS 13 is full of problems but I am really looking forward to 1.1.1.1 working again. When it’s working it’s great.

Have issues with locations finding
I am in New Zealand and this app always forces me to disconnect from my wifi and uses cell phone data.
Not sure if its a bug or not..

Love the App on my Phone - iPad Pro Battery Life Killer
As several reviewers before me mentioned, the app is great, but it burns through iPad Pro battery like a wild fire through a dry forest! The difference in very noticeable—from 100% to 10% charge in less than 2 hours with 1.1.1.1 running vs. several days with normal use (e.g. several hours of web browsing, reading, and movie watching a day) and 1.1.1.1 app turned OFF.
Also as has been noted by other reviewers, the app appears to avoid detection as a battery drainer and doesn’t show up as such among top battery users list.
I hope that this review will provide the needed “last straw” notice for the developers of this otherwise great app to fix it. Thank you!

This Works!
When you get it, turn it on, and it works! That may sound simple and ridicules to many,, but I have been forced offline mostly for the past three years. Most times all apps were paused until they could fake app Me. Most VPNs never worked or wouldn’t install. The 1.1.1.1 always worked when I started it and left it alone...
ie: when I shut it back off I had to erase data and reinstall.
(For Me: erase data as in factory reset is like twice a month+)

Seems to create issues with Apple CarPlay
Good app, I’ve been using it for months now but I have had occasional Apple CarPlay issues. I think I’ve narrowed it down to this app.
I’m still not sure what’s occurring but the app seems to cause Apple CarPlay to continuously disconnect and reconnect when using maps or even when taking phone calls.
It’s extremely frustrating and since I’ve disabled the app the random disconnects have stopped.
Hopefully the developer can resolve the issue.

Good idea, iffy experience
I installed the app on my iPad about 6 weeks ago, at first it performed like a champ then after I changed the password for my network and reconnected my iPad to my network the problems began. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but that seems strange. It’s been intermittently disconnecting and reconnecting, causing me to lose connectivity with my online apps, including programs I stream online. I’ve disabled it for now and will leave the app on my device for the time being since I believe in the idea of being able to surf the web privately. Maybe a future update will fix the problem.

A really good and reliable app
I know that this apps was made over a year ago but I still can’t get over the fact on how good this app is the app is basically an app which downloads an VPN client for you the client is very strong it hides ur ip (Internet Protocol) and it gives u a speed boost to your internet but tbh I haven’t really noticed any changes in my internet speed have fun everyone ❤️😘

Chris Boozer
It isvan awesome app and service. Using cloudflare as your DNS instead of Comcast or Google significantly speed up my internet access at home and on mobile wifi at Starbucks too. It also prevents Comcast from selling your data enhancing privacy. The same is true on public wifi. When used with a VPN to protect from malicious individuals on wifi networks it is a necassary part of responsible internet use. For VPN i recommend Nord VPN. Together it is an amazing and safe expience.

Issues with certain services/apps
Recently I've had issues with The Pod Point iOS app for electric vehicles, and with Wireless CarPlay in my OTA-updated Mini Countryman - the former acts like there is no internet connection, the latter become unresponsive and stuttery/glitchy to a degree that it is unusable.… these apps previously worked with earlier versions of the app, so I'm not sure what changed, but this is two big reasons for me not to leave 1.1.1.1 enabled
