I downloaded this game today and have been playing for the last several hours. So far the game has been amazing with a sophisticated concept and a simple art style. I have had a few problems with the game such as the worker bots sitting at my tent just eating wood whilst not repairing the wall, making it impossible to defend against zombies, also the requirements for metal sheets seem a bit to high near the start of the game. Other than that I highly recommend this game and give it a solid 5 stars

  • I love but sad

I love this game but I was very happy till u I knew that when ur wall breaks it does not like have a battle between the protectors and zombies so it just takes lots of your people make it have a battle when wall gets destroyed and make a sandbox mode where u have infinity resources and you can do any thing till you press like a start button yeh
I want it so in sandbox u don’t need to wait for the people to come to ur outpost like so you have infinity till you press start for sandbox if you make it and when night came after getting resources the resource people just don’t put the resources in but back to sandbox yeh so you can build anything but I want it so the map is bigger and u can make your out post walls go out more with upgrades

    Thank you for reading.

  • Possible Feature

So this is one of the first reviews I’ve ever done so and that’s because this game is great and I love it it’s easy to play and has a lot of great features except one which is the restart and tutorial feature. The tutorial and restart features are good features except when you restart the game and have to do the tutorial all over again which is the only annoying thing about it.

I would like to suggest the ability to skip the tutorial, under the assumption that the player already went through it, and just star at square one and go from there. Other than that this is a great game and I would highly recommend it if your into strategy and resource management.

  • fun but terrible glitches make it unplayable

This is a very fun indie game with a ton of potential to develop into a great game. However, a ton of glitches make it unplayable past a certain point, and the slow rate of growth makes it too frustrating to start over.
The most frustrating glitch I’ve found is with the workers. Once assigned, they’ll take the wood, but won’t go to fix the wall. I’ve added more workers, I unassigned and reassigned workers, and still nothing. They just eat up the wood without repairing the walls. You wind up out of wood and without walls.
Another glitch is with the knife fighters: whenever they kill a zombie, they just stand around for a good while until the sound radius they make shrinks back on them. They won’t kill a zombie even if it’s right next to it, but even if they’re free, they’d rather travel all along to the opposite end of the wall rather than kill a zombie close to them. And sometimes they just stand next to a zombie without killing it, while other fighters can’t do anything.
All in all, a fun game, but it’s really pointless to keep playing past day ~35 with these glitches.

  • Good idea but could be better

I like the game but there are a couple things wrong and that could be improved.

    1. Starvation is unrealistic and poorly implemented in the game. I could have surplus food and not have anyone work but someone will still starve to death in less than a week (somehow)

    2. Need more resources. Only having wood, food, and having different types of scrap gets old quickly and kind of limits what you can build in the game. Adding other resources such as water, electricity, plastic, heck even fuel (like charcoal or something) would add more depth to the game

    3. Not enough buildings in the game and not enough things you can do. There’s not that many buildings with different uses, usually just upgraded versions of other buildings, and also the only thing you can do in the game as far I’m aware of is improve your outpost. You could add the option to raid other camps (ai generated or add multiplayer) and have a planning room, and a vehicle workshop where you could build cars or stuff like that that could make collecting resources faster.

  • Perfect for Apple Watch

This is amazing, but sometimes I’m too lazy to pull out my phone and play this game. I thought to head over and over how this game is perfect for an Apple Watch. I even made a plan on how it works and stuff. Anyways, Great game!
  • Very indie-interesting idea.

For context, the game is a base defender style game, defend at night, collect resources by day. It can be completed pretty quickly (less than a day) has no ads(THANK YOU), and no pay wall.

I've beaten the game obviously and think it's time to give it the review it deserves. It pretty low budget which I prefer in a mobile game, the tutorial could be expanded upon but thats a minor nitpick. I'd much prefer a bit more content. Once you're ready to expand to a new area you've pretty much unlocked everything the game has to offer. I've had a few glitches happen that appear to have been patched now, so good job taking swift action. It has a very indie feel, and i'm excited to see new updates.

While I did not donate to patreon, I spent the $5 on in app purchase that i didn't really need to show appreciation. Fun little game, more updates please 👍

  • Good, but needs improvements

I do like this game, it’s a good way to kill an afternoon, but it can be incredibly frustrating at times.

There’s many things I think could improve the game, but in particular, it would be nice if we could move buildings, or at least get resources back from them. I mean- come on, the houses are tents. You don’t destroy a tent and then completely build it again from scratch somewhere new. Same with if people die, why do I need to build an entire new tool just because a person was holding it when they died? It’s irritating.

Other than that though, I do genuinely enjoy this game. There’s just the little things that would improve the experience greatly.

  • Great Game

Would update my previous review but I’m not sure! I earlier had gotten mad at the game due to a glitch I had rent noticed until it was too late that caused guards and snipers to not emerge from the tent for the night! It was on my best run yet too! I avoided the game for a while but with a sigh decided to go back in today and see if it was still redeemable or if I would have to scrap the world for a better one and I’m happy to report that bringing the base back from the brink like that feels SO amazing! I haven’t yet reached endgame so I can’t comment on that but so far I’ve had an enjoyable experience with the game

  • Best game ever

This game has no pay to win aspect to it and is really simple to understand. Unlike other survival games which you have to either wait hours or buy coins this game has none of that!! But there are items in the game which you can buy but wouldn’t impact the game too much that you’re too overpowered. Either way I highly recommend you buy the packs to help the developer develop the game more. 100% could play this game hours on end.
