  • Bad

This game is actually pretty fun unfortunately there is no fall back and if your base is breached your population is halved and any metal storages you have are destroyed. This is sadly the ultimate game breaker, there is no system set in place for players who wish to continue playing and not lose everything or be killed by the next night or two of zombies. This is a really bad fault of the game not to mention for those who actually spent money on a save and ended up having everything ruined in spite of this. Key advice developers if you wish to make a truly enjoyable experience out of your game it would better to have actual worthwhile purchases, save reloads, or some other mechanic, because what I take away from your current version is that you’d rather see us lose the purchases we made because we got breached and have to make them again rather than actually progressing and making new ones. Unfortunately I won’t be playing this game until some sort of new mechanic is implemented. Can’t wait to see what you come up with there is tons of potential for this game.

  • Glitches.

Since the last update I've never had the issue where a zombie is suddenly invincible, but out of nowhere, I breeze through 4 waves no issue, then, all of a sudden with 7 snipers and 6 guards at a low wave, with a fire rate glitch (I mainly used it because I thought it was funny), they didnt die! They took at least 20 shots each. On top of that I lost 90% of all I had, people resources and buildings, but I remain at the same wave?!?! Thats literally stupid. The fire rate glitch is rapidly pausing and unpausing the game in between bullets fired then they'll fire again and again, stacking it and firing faster. I've never encountered invincible zombies though until this most recent update and have never lost nearly everything I had when dying.

  • Fun management game with it’s flaws.

I enjoy this game, and am sure many others do. However there are some complaints I personally have.
    1: Guards are noisy.
What I mean by “guards are noisy” is that 1 gunshot invites an entire utopia and a half of zombies over to your little camp. Maybe make there be a much more silent option. Rangers, armed with bows dealing 1.5 damage (needs 35 wood and 3 low quality scraps.) add a silenced pistol that needs 3 high quality scraps, 7 medium quality, and 15 low quality with a damage output the same as a regular pistol (3).
2: Maybe more things to do than just sit watching your base? It gets really boring. Maybe add “scavenging runs” where you play a little rpg where you get in by motorbike/car (add a new workbench thing that requires 500 wood, 100 low quality scraps, and 30 medium quality?) and explore as much buildings you can under a time limit. Fail to loot fast and night will fall, spawning small groups of zombies that slowly, but surely, take down your group.
3: When your wall dies, your outpost does too. Make it so the fight isn’t over when it falls, but if the base falls (bases have higher hp the higher their level, zombies will prioritize attacking places that boost population)
And those are all my complaints. Overall this is a good game, but after a while you may run out of things to do and have this turn flat out just boring.

  • A good start, but repetitive grind & lack of endgame

I am a fan of this kind of survival base building game, and honestly am fine with the simplified graphics. But wish there could be a bit more gameplay to manage my people. I’d love to see new roles added for the game, like an explorer that scavenges buildings (something similar to the lines of Fallout Shelter).
Also would love to see more of an Ed game... after a while it’s just the same repetitive gameplay, and resources become incredibly plentiful by then you don’t ever have to worry.
As a one person developer, I like this first step. I hope to see great things from you in the future, and know you can improve upon this game to make it even better. This game is good for about a couple days before dying off, but I hope someday they’ll be new features that will make me come back again and again

  • Great Game

This game is great. The basic graphics take nothing away from the survival community gameplay. My days are in the mid-50s, and it’s just started to get challenging. Not only do I no longer get refugees (and have a ridiculously low birth rate), occasionally a zombie will stand in the woodlands for the entire day so my people are at risk of dying of starvation. This usually happens the day before a horde day which makes it more challenging. People die of starvation faster than they give birth so eventually you’ll fail. It’s just a matter of when.

The only real issue I think should be addressed is that the “tutorial” needs to be skipable. We know what we’re doing after the first round lol

  • Great little game but needs something more

I really love this game, the dev has done a Stirling job BUT I would like to see some additions- weapon upgrades- like upgrading knife fighter dmg- such as crafting swords or other melee weapons, also random events would be great, like disruptions to food- ie rats, or human attacks and you need to equip fighters during day, scripts- like “one of your woodcutters have come across a wounded man- should he help or leave” with responses- like “ it was actually an ambush and your woodcutter has been robbed/killed/held hostage” Found an old mine, search it? Reward vs risk etc. This game is a lovely little game, could be brilliant and I would certainly donate the odd drink to the dev (donate as it’s a free game) if more was implemented

  • Love it

Great game. If you guys could make it so you can turn off the tutorial at the start, because if you start over and you want to get right to it and you know what to do the tutorial gets annoying. Thank you
  • Glitch

There’s a glitch that happens where my workers will go into camp to get the wood to fix the wall and then never come back out, I’ve lost so much wood because of this and it’s in the middle of a really difficult moment where all my other wood is being stretched thin so losing that wood makes it really bad, now I died because I couldn’t fix my wall because of the worker glitch and why does it continue from the day you were on if you choose to continue? It’s a stupid rule, instead it should leave the structures the way they are and then start from day one again, it’s literally not possible to continue to survive from day 33 with only 5 people to protect in the middle of the night. And if you think I’m gonna start all the way over from the very beginning again you’re dead wrong, I’m deleting.

  • The game is great! One simple problem and several glitches.

I love the game, it’s perfect in my eyes except for a few simple glitches. It could also be a bit longer and perhaps you could allow the player to choose a difficulty. The only major problem I have that could be avoided easily is the fact that every time I play the game again I have to go through the tutorial. It would be great if you could choose to skip the tutorial, and if you needed it, go back through and do the tutorial again.

I’ve rated the game three stars because the tutorial problem and the glitches, if these were fixed I’d make it five stars easily.

  • Fantastic game but needs improvement and fixing

The game itself is amazing, it has a nice feel to it and it’s simplistic and easy to use, however you are on your own from the start you barely get enough knowledge to get along the game and the bugs are annoying. The workers that fix things with the saw work once every day and not again but continue to take your resources , I lost 700 wood because of this bug and it’s rather annoying and means your walk can not be upgraded enough to survive the next night. The game needs a little fixing and a guide book where you can refer to it later in the game
