  • Disappointing

I started playing this game when it first came out, it was great. I created a Union and it was meant to be fun & relaxing. The game originally was fun & relaxing. HOWEVER, now it’s not!!!
1….For those who created Unions, they are no longer in control of their union!!!! The developers took that away, they kept all the original unions BUT NOW whoever comes into that union with the highest score, WILL AUTOMATICALLY TAKE OVER & have full control. They can remove long standing players etc; Then leave themselves. They can cause absolute chaos. I reached out to the game IT help & NEVER heard from them, it’s now almost been 1 year!!!!!
I’ve spent money on this game & this is how they choose to treat paying customers….utter disgrace.
2….They have loaded the game so much that it’s a total nightmare. Where does one start and where does one end. It’s ridiculous. The developers can clearly see hundreds of other players have mentioned this is a major issue, yet it continues to get worse. How about you actually stop thinking you know better and listen to the players/customers. You might actually improve your ratings.
3…..Go back to the original and don’t touch what doesn’t need fixing!!!!
4…..It takes a very long time to complete tasks

It truly is a pity. It once was a good game.

I don’t recommend this game any longer, sorry. I hope the developers do listen.

  • Great game, but riddled with ads, expensive IAP, and bugs

I’ve been playing this game for more than a year, and I’d give it 5 stars alone for the highly addictive play. However, every minute of play involves one or more prompts for ads, interrupting game play. Many ads are irrelevant, such as in a language I can’t even read. There are many in-app purchases, some of which alleviate some or all of the ads, but they are all extremely expensive, at least 3-4 times higher than I’m willing to pay (vs other games) and I can only afford 1 or 2 a month, so I’m beholden to ads and significantly reduced odds of winning challenges most of the time. The other thing wrong is, I’m constantly running into nasty bugs that foil game play, like disappearing controls, leaving me stuck in the home city, UI glitches such as overlapping offers, trains that can no longer be dispatched if I accidentally peek at an unpurchased train, and in the most recent update, inaccessible (overlapping) scoreboards, preventing me from accessing my rewards. Many bugs are sometimes fixed within a week or two, only to return with a vengeance in another update. It’s like there is no quality control at all, periodically ruining gameplay. For these reasons, I can only give this game 2 stars. You’ve been warned.

  • Was a great game

Re-downloaded this game to see if previous issues had been resolved only to find many of the advertisements now automatically take me to the app store, forcing me to close out of it multiple times per ad. If this isn’t resolved soon I’ll have to delete again. Probably for good. Otherwise it was a good game. Also, the stupid football manager game ad that won’t let you close out of it, forcing you to force close the game and restart is very annoying!

Update: In addition to numerous ad glitches, the game itself has become very glitchy lately, often requiring game to be force closed and restarted. Having just waited for a ship to arrive to trade for some much needed blue plans, the game suddenly reset timer to 16 hrs wait again. Also, it’s so tiring completing tasks to gather keys to purchase train containers, only to have to spin a wheel of chance and continuously end up with duplicate trains you don’t need. Why not let us save up to buy trains we actually need like a real business? This game is so frustrating lately I might just delete it and find something more rewarding for my time.

  • Free to a point

I’ve enjoyed this game up to the point (level 9) where I can’t progress any further without buying gems. I can’t upgrade the warehouse without new buildings and I can’t upgrade buildings without collecting ticket things, which are available at level 11. So without buying gems or tickets I can’t get any further. There’s an awful lot of waiting for infrastructure to be built (1 hr) at a time providing you have the resources and train capacity otherwise it’s longer.
One other thing you promote gambling sites with ads you have to watch to gain resources which is pretty shocking as this game is definitely aimed at the younger generation.
All in all I wouldn’t recommend downloading this game unless you’re willing to pay and have a lot of patience.

  • The Ads have gotten out of control!

This was a decent game several years ago. Since then, we’ve had several updates that were amateurish in looks changed the play of the game. Although I eventually got used to this, the ads keep getting longer and longer. 30 sec is long enough to get the free items, but 90!? And then, you play a game with hitting the X to close and it automatically takes you to the App Store. Back and forth, X, App Store. You know you’re doing it PF! Royal match is the worst. I find it ironic that it claims no ads in its gameplay yet I can’t play my game unless I spend 2 min trying to get 2 free Union gears. Then after watching it for 30 sec or so the X appears making it seem you can close the ad, but no….. now a pop up window appears telling you that you can leave, but you lose the item wasting even more of your time. I know yo7 hav3 to make money, but greed has taken over Pixel Federation. I already know your response is going to be you don’t control the ads, another company does. That excuse is old! I hire company’s to work for me. If my clients aren’t happy because of them, I warn them to change. PF encourages them because of greed. I’ve hit my last straw. This is a recurring complaint thru all of the comments on all your games. Not just TS2. Too bad. You had a decent game.

  • The game opens then closes automatically! Please fix this

Thank you so much for making this game, I haven’t reached level 500 (Australia) but I have done research and you don’t have any NSWGR locomotives, not even a c38 class! Please fix this as soon as possible so when I reach the level, I won’t be disappointed! Also can you make it so that you can choose which region you want to buy the trains from because at the moment I’m in Germany but I really want the rest of the trains from Britain, speaking of which, please get the right trains for the right region, it’s extremely frustrating having an LNER k3 in Germany when it stands for London and North Eastern Railway!

  • Misses its potential due to gameplay progression

This game has great potential that, I feel, it narrowly misses. Part of the fun of management games is building an empire (it’s even in the title of this game). However it’s challenging to do so in this game as the progression each level feels like a reset. It doesn’t feel like you’re building on prior progress. For some reason you get new trains but not new dispatchers, which are the limiting factor for running a bigger empire. I understand that the business model of gaming has moved in the direction of micro transactions but this game puts monetisation front and centre instead of fun gameplay progression (which would organically lead to better monetisation).

  • Was great. Now an add machine

Please stop the ads. The goal is now not to run trains but to avoid ads. I will watch ads when i think the reward is worth the effort. Not just to continue. Ads occur every 3 minutes or so. Only way to stop the add is to shut the game down wait then start it up gain. Not because my platform cant play the add i shut down the app to stop the ad. If you restart the ap again You will then have about 3 minutes of playing time before the next add pops up. Hard to give this game anything better than 1 star. Recent updates adds adds when you try and do anything. Very frustrating. Not worth playing now the new graphics layout is not great but you can live with it but it reduces the pleasure. The ads that appear for even the simplist tasks has me scared of hitting any button as i anticipate an ad popping up and the 30 second delay. I now end the game when an add pops up and might come back in an hour. I didnt even try the Halloween event as it really add filled . Another really annoying fact is that the surveys that allow you to collect gems are a scam . You can spend 10 plus minutes filling out a survey only to be told after all the questions are logged that you dont qualify and you get no reward. Between the ads and the survey scam i cannot recommend this game to anyone

Hello Rich345 , we understand that the issues with the ads might disturb your gaming experience with Train Station 2 and we are sincerely sorry for that. We would like to advise you to kill all running apps in the background using the task manager before watching any ad to avoid the obstacles, this usually helps! :) - Alz, CM
  • Not fun anymore

Really enjoyed playing this game but all the special events in the game have been altered in last few updates where you need to spend excessive money. To expensive in the world to barely put food on the table let alone spend foolish amounts of money on this game.

  • Ok for a couple of months

But I actually was getting tired of it after about a week or so. The “events” kept me interested for awhile, but to do well in them you need to spend some money, which I did…more than I wanted to, but that isn’t the game’s fault.
The biggest problem is the waiting. First, you need raw materials. If you have an open dispatcher you send a train to pick some up. That part usually goes fairly quickly, less than 5 minutes. Then, You need to take rhe raw materials and manufacture the goods to ship to the stations. That can take anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour. Then, depending on the goods you need to make, you may need more time to turn those basic goods into finished goods, which can mean another hour. Once your goods are ready to ship, you assign a train to carry them, as long as you have a dispatcher free. If not, you have to wait until one is free. When you finally get your goods on the train to be shipped where they are wanted, it takes an hour for them to get there, and a dispatcher is tied up until that job is done. It doesn’t matter what type of train, or how many cars are full. It takes an hour in most cases.
I realized I was spending more time waiting than I was playing, and I was paying for it. How bored was I that I continued to do this for two months! Bored AND stupid.
I strongly recommend you spend you time (and money) somewhere else.
