Doesn’t work

Digital registrations added to apple wallet don’t actually work. It adds a card but almost all the information is missing from the card.

I complained about this issue previously and got a response from the developer claiming that it was fixed, so I updated the app and tried again. Nope! Still broken in the latest version.

Response from developer

Please upgrade the application and give it a try. After adding the card to Apple wallet you may not see all data about it right on the card for privacy & security reason, however you can click the "..." on the top right corner of the card and from the next page you may click the "Show VR in DCDMV App" and that will show you the card with latest information without asking you to enter all those details again but it will verify your face id or touch id.

Frustrating

Unable to renew my registration because I need to have an inspection done. The app prompts me to hit “continue” to have a temporary registration issued, however, there is no “continue” command to hit. The only option is the green “next” button which just throws up the same error message again.

Very Useful!

It’s really good to see all the DMV services at one place.

Errors!

Every time I try to do something, it just keeps saying error. Very annoying.

No QUEUE anymore 😊🤩

Definitely this was the need in this pandemic. I was able to renew my TAG and having the TAG on my apple wallet is so convenient to use!!!

Vanity App

This app is too weird. One of the main headings is “Director’s Biography.” Pure self-promotion. I’ve never seen another app with such a feature - and this is one funded with taxpayer dollars!

Nice idea

I like the idea of this app. I would like it more if you could sign in and save your information. Having to memorize the last five numbers in your VIN number is a little annoying. I would rather enter it once and be done with it.
I will update my review when the other options are released.
