Unlike most mobile games that give you sad stale content recycled for micro transactions this one hits the spot.
You can have a good time without any payments, though paying does speed your power curve up your quickly placed into higher ranks and so you’ll never find yourself battling players that spend loads of money.
The story mode and boss raids are really fun if you like strategic games and the pvp is good tooShow lessdevilsreborn

Grate game

Blatant cash grab
After the last major update, while the gameplay remains good there is now one major issue - pay to win or in this case compete!
Before you could watch adds and pay nothing and you knew you were average at best but now even if you spent money you can’t compete as you need to spend huge amounts just to get back to average after they re-adjusted the game (yes I contacted the makers but it was basically generic rubbish and then if you don’t like it stop playing).
My advice is don’t start playing, a shame as this was a fairly good game ruined by a blatant cash grabShow lesssaratoga12345

It is definitely one of the only games that is what the trailer says. Great campaign and the community is chill. My clan is helpful so I help back. I think there is a slight wall you hit but I changed strategies and it works. It gets harder but not to fast. It’s at a pace where you keep up. Good game guys.Show lessLogpillows1
Great base game but…
The base game, I absolutely adore. The freedom of placing your units wherever gives rise to a lot of strategies That feel free form. I’m currently ranked around 2400 which I assume is decently high since every enemy I find has units sometimes leveled up twice the level of mine. I was able to get pretty high decently fast despite this, but I feel like I’m at a point where it’s just ridiculous. I feel as thought there isn’t as many ways for a Free to play like me to really compete at this point, unless you want to watch 3 ads every 12 or so hours. And this doesn’t event guarantee making your armies stronger. The variety of units is amazing but the fact you have to level them up so high to even be viable really just discourages or makes it impossible to try some strategies. The fact that there are so many units to choose from also becomes a bit of a hassle at higher ranks since the pool of units is higher, it means you’ll have less chances getting the units you want.
TL;DR: the base game is amazing until a certain point. Now I feel like I can’t progress despite having better overall strategies.Show lessHumanoidtyphoon272

Thanks for your review and honest feedback. Yes, advancing with good tactics and unit choice can lead to a situation where it is hard to advance purely because your opponents have higher leveled units. In these cases, you will have to either shake things up with a new tactic or simply open those Wagons and request the Shards you need from fellow Clan members. Do join our Discord from the Settings menu, if you haven't already. There, you will find fellow Commanders are ready and eager to give you good advice on getting your army back on track.(Not just the free gems)
This game is bad***, no not in a bad way, I honest love how many options their are to choose from when it comes to customizing your army ,There dozens of troops to upgrade and customize uniquely and I’m not cappin... a lot of customization and plenty of Warriors to call your favorite but iv had a lot of “favorites” so far, but a good army doesn’t just have one soldier, find the best front line to hold the enemy’s off or jump behind their lines with an assassin build, all up to you in this game, ////////// This is the game to playShow lessSyncyourkeys
