Who does your maths?!?!?
This is an awesome game - I love it. But you need to fire whomever wrote the formula for the win loss %. If it takes me ~ 15 wins to increase from 70% to 90% then 2 losses would not, in any shape or form, on any planet, known universe or dimension drop me down 18%. Especially the amount of battles I have had, I’m almost rank 5. Now I’m not a Mensa member like the person that wrote that formula but even if you take a really low number like 27 wins with 3 losses (which is ~90%) even if I lost the next 2 matches the absolute lowest percentage I should drop is to 84% not 72%. Stuck
I’ve got to tire six and I’m stuck at a wall trying to go any further as I win one battle and lose 6 very frustrating I have tried battle ya it’s and change play style but nothing works. I loved this game at first but now it is just to hard and frustrating to win trophies backKooper_492

The game is good and I managed to get to rank 16 in first week. Was enjoy it but from 16 and above the game shows true unbalances and stupid match matching. My army average level 8 get match with someone who at least 3-4 level higher. Not to mention rank 16 is FILLED the stupid and brain-dead swam types with armies that have unbalance numbers and buffs such arcane blades, wraiths and righteous defenders. This supposed to be a strategic and tactical game which is now ruined by stupid imbalances which encourage players to play a particular format to win.Show lessBoP4ever

Our matchmaking is based on the rating of players, it is not selective. You will be matched with players near to your current rating. If you feel you are getting stuck, join our Discord from the Events tab, the Commanders there are ready to assist.Not Bad!
I do enjoy this game, as it is always interesting to try new squads. I have a few things I’d like to stay, and a few things I would like to be changed.
While there are some things bought with money, I wouldn’t consider this a pay-to-play game. I bought the season pass a few times for the extra skins and to support the game, but you can definitely get to the top without paying money.
I have a few things about the specific troops I think should be changed. In my opinion Catapult should do more damage, as mine is level 2 and still doesn’t even eliminate weak troops like archers or hounds. I believe that catapult should be buffed in damage as it is a huge rock being flung. That should crush an archer. I’m also on board with buffing archers a little bit. I have high level archers(I think 9 or 10) and they don’t do very much damage at all. Even against weaker troops they don’t do much damage. Lastly for the troops, I believe Brute needs to do more damage. He’s a dude smashing people with a big hammer. That should be a lot of damage.
In all, this in my opinion is a good game. It’s well made, updated often, and is fun to play.Show less187899

Thank you for the review! We look at unit balance constantly, and do make changes when we see a specific unit under or over performing. Try pairing your Archers and Catapults with damage enhancing Powerstones for an optimal result. As for the Brute, it works best when it is supported by the right units. I’m in absolute awe at how fun and hooked I was immediately. I didn’t even like console games as much as I’ve enjoyed this mobile game.
This game is NOT pay to win. You guys are sore losers. I’ve spent 80$ only to realize that I wasn’t getting stronger than anyone. I was only progressing faster. Someone who played an extra few days would get the same stuff I got lol. Paying is for the impatient in this game, not for the tyrant.

Good game heading in bad direction
The core gameplay is very good, and climbing the ranks is very rewarding. There’s rotating events every few days/weeks, and while seasons don’t last very long (two weeks) the season pass is fairly priced and a good value. You can watch ads for extra rewards but they’re far from compulsory.
All that said, clan raids are becoming very pay to win and very overtuned. Past a certain point it becomes less about building against them into building cheese builds to take chip damage and buying raid keys for extra attempts (normally you get one per four hours). All that’s made worse by the fact that raids yield unique rewards based on the level.
Unit balance is also not in a very good spot, and it seems they overtune them to coincide with a premium skin release.
Would I recommend this game? Absolutely. Would I recommend it 2-3 months if they continue down this way? Maybe not.Show lessrocksea101
The most p2w game I have ever seen
Usually these type of games involve some kind of skill or strategy that can make up for some of the p2w aspects but there is none here. There is literally no skill since you just set your lineup and then sit back and watch. There is a minute amount of strategy setting up your board, but really it is just dumb luck because you can’t see the opponent ahead of time. The grind is insanely slow after the first day because you are only opening a couple chests a day that probably won’t help anyway. This game comes down to nothing but how many shards you bought for your units. I have never written a review before, but I just cannot believe this has thousands of 5 star reviews. If they set this up like those auto chess games where you only pay for cosmetics I would say this is a 4 star game and would happily spend 20 bucks on it, but I am not dropping hundreds to try and hope I open what I want.Show lesshsbddbdndndd
Horrible game
This game could possibly be made better, but as it is, it’s terrible. There is no real way to play the game. Everything appears to be random, but just try to make your team better... not going to happen. Every time you upgrade or change your troop configuration, the game automatically accounts for it and will just give you a opponent exactly suited for your configuration. I have never seen a game handle advancement so horribly. On top of that, when you happen to win (seems to be 40% of the time), you get 10 gold. My next single troop upgrade costs 1,000 gold. That means I have to WIN (not just play) 100 matches. Move on everyone and don’t waste your time. It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, but it’s not.Show lesscasprt7878
Great unit Battle Game
The VERY BEST Battle game I think the units are great the Battle looks really kool it’s a very enjoyable game I give it 5 stars because of the game play & graphics!! The Clan Raids are very Kool u just set up your units and up grade them and watch them battle it out with other players!!! Keep up the great work guys.. Thanks for making this game!! Also I play this game everyday since I downloaded it on my iPhone love this game... The BATTLES are very well matched up to what your units lvls are and to what your RANK is to in the game against the players u BATTLE! I do spend money on this game but u don’t have to, Iam at the top RANK right now which is RANK 16 and it’s not very difficult to get there it’s just planning ur units formation on the battlefield,picking what units u like to use and upgrade them it all about planning and what kind of formations BEST fits for you!! Need Help
I love this game and would love to give it a 5 star rating but my game is stuck right now. I unlocked the battle stones or whatever they are called that you equip to your units to give them buffs and it is trying to make me do a tutorial to equip the stone on my troop however it wants me to select a stone i dont currently have any of and after i click on it it wants me to click on absolutelt nothing in the middle of the screen and the game gets stuck. I cant go back, i cant equip different stones, i cant even play the game at all. Ive already paid over 20$ on this game buying the season pass and several in app purchases. If you cant fix my game and make it playable then i would like a refund, i have screenshots of every email pertaining to each transaction and item i purchased in the game.Show lessRuth34483
