Removed it twice
It doesn’t have favorites and it’s just too cumbersome to look for the same route number of times a day.
This app has something that is called “Enabled Routes” instead of Favorites which I found it more annoying than useful.
Imagine your city has 90 bus lines but you use only 15 of them. If you selected these 15 routes as Favorites, you can select let’s say only the 3 you are using in the morning and than switch the routes to other 2 ones you use on weekends. But these routes will always be in your Favorite tab.
Busly has Enabled Routes so when you marked 15 lines as that, you will see them all at once. If you are not interested in seeing let’s say 10 of them, you have to remove them from Enabled Routes which puts them back in a pool of all the routes (90) in your city. If you want to see these routes again than you will have to scroll through all the routes to mark them again as enabled.
Imagine if you browser would show you all your favorites at once; that would be very unhelpful, right?

EDIT: Favorites is now available! With the latest update (v1.1), you can add/remove Routes & Stops to a dedicated list of Favorites for quick access. Really sorry it took so long but I'd love for you to give the app a third try if you've still got it in you :) Also, if there's any additional functionality you feel may be missing, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly via the in app Support screen or by editing this review. -- Hi Annoyedbycoinbase, I fully agree with you that Favorites are definitely missing from the Busly app as it currently stands. Rest assured, this is a top priority feature for me to implement and I’m working as quickly as I can to get the feature ready for release. I’d be happy to update you if you’d like once it’s available (just let me know via the in app Support button). Cheers, Alex
Could you add the Run Number of the bus on the app?

EDIT: Great news! I've just released an update (v1.0.6) that adds a "Show Vehicle Identifiers" toggle under Settings > General. Enable it to see the Vehicle ID, Run ID, and Block ID shown next to vehicles on the map. Please don't hesitate to reach out via Settings > Support > Contact App Support with any feedback or if you experience any issues after updating. -- Hi Yestorm, unfortunately the new data source I’m using in this app doesn’t provide the run numbers so I’m not able to display this info easily. There’s been quite a few people asking for this though, so I’ve got some ideas of a way I could maybe get around this. It may take some time though, so stay tuned and I’ll be sure to let you know once I’ve found a way to make this work. Alex

EDIT: Just a quick heads up here, I've just released a new update (v1.1) that adds support for Favorites & Nearby Stops. The experience should now feel closer to what you were used to from the old app, but definitely let me know if there's still anything else you feel is missing or would like to see tweaked. You can reach me via the in app Support screen (Settings > Support > Contact App Support), or alternatively by editing this review. -- Hi Karat, Sorry to hear you’re not totally satisfied with the new app. Are there any specific features or changes you’d like to see added to the new app to make it work better for you? You can let me know via the in app Support button in either app or by editing this review. Cheers, Alex
Not Smarta for MARTA

EDIT: Just a quick update here, as of v1.0.4 there’s now a “Show in map” button on the detail screens for Stops & Vehicles so you can quickly zoom in to the specific location on the map after selection. Thanks for the suggestion! Hi theplainjane, would you mind letting me know specifically which MARTA stations are missing so I can correct this issue. All the stop, route, and vehicle data comes directly from MARTA so if there’s something missing, I’d be happy to inform MARTA about it so they can fix the data they’re providing. You can reach me directly via the in app Support section under Settings (use the “Contact App Support” button). Also, would you mind letting me know which symbols you find confusing so I can look into making them more clear or setting up some kind of tutorial as you suggested? Finally, I agree that when you select a stop, there should be an easy way to make it show on the map, which is definitely not the case currently. I was considering previously adding a “Show in map” button to the stop detail page. Do you think that would work? Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other suggestions! Cheers, Alex

EDIT: Favorites is now available! With the release of my last update (v1.1.), you can add/remove Stops and Routes to a dedicated list of Favorites for quick access (along with a bunch of other new features!). If you still feel there's any functionality missing or have any additional suggestions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out via the in app Support screen (Settings > Support > Contact App Support) or alternatively by editing this review. -- Hi Iamspeakingthetruth, sorry to hear you’re not totally satisfied with the app. Would you mind letting me you which agency you’re using and the route that has stops missing so I can dig into the issue? You can reach me in app via Settings > Support > Contact App Support or alternatively by editing this review. Busly is a very new app so there are a few big features I’m still working on adding support for and I can promise you that Favorites is at the top of that list. Will be happy to let you know once it’s ready, which should be in one of the next few app updates. Cheers, Alex

With the v1.0.3 update released today, this issue should be resolved and it should now be possible to view the IDs for a particular vehicle. Appreciate you bringing this to my attention and please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you run into any additional problems or have any suggestions! Cheers, Alex

EDIT: I've just released an update (v1.1) that lets you add/remove Stops and Routes to a list of Favorites for quick access. There's now a dedicated tab just for this so it should be super easy to get to! I'm still working on fixing the stops order, but unfortunately it's still something that'll take a bit more time. Will update you once I have a solution though! As always, if you have any other feedback or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out via the in app Support screen (Settings > Support > Contact App Support) or alternatively by editing this review. -- Hi Elle, Sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with the way things are currently set up in the new app. The stop ordering is definitely currently an issue that I’m working on fixing, it’s just something that ended up being a bit more complicated than I initially thought since each route actually can have multiple valid ways of ordering the stops (some routes have 5 different variants, for example). I’m hoping to add support for a UI that makes this super clear and let’s you select the order you’re interested in (for example outbound vs inbound). The Busly app in its current state is just the beginning of my plans for this app and you can expect to see big improvements over the next few months which I’m working as hard and as fast as I can to deliver on on. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via the in app Support button if you have any additional comments or feedback. Cheers, Alex
