Storage Issue
Cameras work fine but option for SD storage is fake, it will let you format card but not use it AT ALL!!!! Also there is no option to delete unwanted video or sound recordings from the cloud which is the ONLY way they allow you to save the recordings. These issues are a major drawback and need addressed. So glad I bought this on clearance!!!!!Jlar67
Camera/Audio Use
The camera and audio work well. The speaker in the camera doesn’t sound good but if someone talks slower than normal you can understand them. I also don’t use notifications or anything. Only camera use for WiFi capability.Yobearbooboo

Speaker works fine, camera has good picture but you HAVE to get a cloud subscription to review playback. I bought a $20 that works better than this crap. Notifications are on for away but not for home yet I keep getting nonstop notifications. 🤦🏻♂️ definately the worst product I’ve ever dealt with. Not built for pleasing customers.MSCountryBoy32

This site is horrible. They do not give you any cancellation options. They are deducting from my account and I cannot cancel. They do not have any Help options on cancellation of their monthly deductions. DO NOT TRY THIS APP.

Cannot record to SD card
It is beyond frustrating that I went and bought a Micro SD card for my camera for no reason because this camera does not allow you to record to the SD Card. No matter what I do or how many times I’ve tried, it is simply impossible. The option to record to SD is there, but it’s greyed out. I’m assuming it’s because they want me to purchase a cloud subscription, which I am not going to do. And because the camera lags so much when connected to WiFi, it is essentially useless.StevenRyanK.
Can’t record to sd card
This is such a shame the camera has all the capabilities to record to an SD card but if you tried to the option is just to grayed out. And a simple update could fix this. If you could save to as card while you’re not looking at camera ( like cheaper models from other companies do ) they try to force you into paying by the month. Fix the sd card save and I’ll gladly give 5 stars. Otherwise altec while never be my go to in the future for security.justinca2013

I have 3 of these cameras it said you could set it to save on sd card the option is there but won’t let you select it they also want 5.00 a month for each cam!!!! Hell no waste of money.. Do not buy these cameras or sign up for the service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Fatsack243
