  • Nothing But Problems! Needs Help!!!

I have yet to be able to place an order and login to be able to save my information and use the rewards program, after multiple attempts over several months. With the new and improved app, it makes you create a new account. “Complete order as guest and then create account.” Great! Last time was error message after error message. Today it was, “There’s already a customer with your phone number! You can’t create an account!” Duh. I had an account prior but you are asking me to create a new one. My phone number hasn’t changed. I got the app for the ease of ordering and for the rewards. I think I’m done.

Seriously-please make improvements. I shouldn’t be this irritated trying to order pizza, and it shouldn’t take 20-30 minutes to place an order.
  • Fix the App

This rating is for the app only!! My daughter LOVES Marcos so we order it quite a bit. The app is not user friendly at all! First, if there’s a “Hot Deal,” I would like the see the “Hot Deal” price reflected on the screen when the order is added to the cart, if not whilst the details are being selected. In addition, links don’t work; they lead to black screens. After checkout, you can’t track your order. Once you’ve checked out, the screen shows your order details, but the red button says “order now.” It can be very confusing. Finally, I hate that the login doesn’t attempt to remember my login information. Of course, until they fix all the bugs, I guess I’d rather it not remember my info. It doesn’t seem secure. How low does your app rating have to get until you fix your online ordering app issues?
  • Even worse than it used to be, somehow

The former app was clunky, but functional. This new version is just a hot mess. The only improvement is the ability to pay in-app without going to a third-party processing website, but the fact that the developers still haven’t implemented ApplePay (like almost every other merchant that has an iPhone app) is ridiculous. Users are left with a choice to either enter credit card details each time or save them in Marcos’ system, and hope there’s no data breach. The functionality of ordering through the app is somehow even more wrought with difficulty than in the former version with unintuitive menu layouts and a focus on their “deals” that makes just ordering a favorite item involve unnecessary navigation. The app doesn’t allow coupon codes to be combined with fundraiser codes which is a great way to bilk customers out of some extra money and completely invalidate the rewards program that’s part of the app.
