  • Best 5/3/1 App

Don’t be turned off by the overall rating of thsj app. I think it suffered from negative reviews in the early days. I gave all the top 5/3/1 apps a try and this one is the most polished and feature rich. It handles all the calculations, provides customizable plate math, has every template imaginable, great Apple Watch interface…everything I was looking for to let me focus on my workout instead of record keeping. Try the free workouts and then just pay for the app. The dev has done an incredible job.

  • So Good That I’ll Write a Review

I never leave reviews on apps but this one truly deserves a 5-star.

This app has simplified (and gamified) my 5/3/1 workouts, and made it easy to track data about my strength over time. The app automatically calculates my 1-rep-maxes across all primary lifts, and displays them in graphs and charts in your ‘Profile’ tab. The graphs really motivate me since I can clearly see myself getting stronger over time.

Shoutout to the developer, too. I reported a bug within the app and they responded the next day saying they’ll fix the bug in the next release. Love that they’re constantly improving the app, instead of abandoning it.

  • The app I was looking for

I wanted a 5/3/1 capable app with ability to make adjustments with t1 and t2. This is the app I was looking for. 4 free workouts is enough to trial it and I will be using the pro version. Keep up the good work devs

  • Brilliant

Best app on the store. Constantly updated. Great features.

  • Excellent app with attention to detail

I’ve used this app for about four months and found it to be really effective. I particularly like how it responds when you don’t hit your PR‘s in a month by not auto incrementing your training maxes on the next cycle.

Another cool feature I just noticed is the ability to reset your target reps if you’ve had a long break or an injury, and the target reps are unattainable.

  • Great

Great app. Been using since September 2020. Easy way to track and plan 531 training. Well worth the money. Best training app full stop. Also use to track kettlebell and Olly lifts. Highly recommended. Also recommend all of the 531 books, all worth reading.

Hi, You can add your own exercises by tapping “new” in the top left of the screen when selecting an exercise.
  • Amazing Tool and Log

Best workout tracker I’ve ever used. Has template programs built into it (most of them 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler). I’ve purchased the 5/3/1 books and you should too. Read and understand them — then use KeyLifts to track your program for many years to come. This app is also high customizable (even as far as modifying pre-made 5/3/1 templates) and your modifications are save-able as a user template which then makes it easy to plug in new cycles as you go through months/years of training. The app developer is also doing great work to improve this app as he goes. I recommend it as highly as I can. Keeps track of lifts by percentages, calculates all that for you, shows you what plates to use, all that. Brilliant tool, packed with greatness yet simple enough to aid any user.

  • Amazing app but a little pricey

Great app! Just wish I had a lifetime purchase option instead of the subscription option.
  • So much more than just 5/3/1

This app is fantastic. As just a 5/3/1 tracker it’s great, but it’s so much more than that. It has various options for different progression schemes when building out your own custom routines or adjusting an existing one. The Apple Watch integration makes it easy to track my progress without having to take my phone out after every set. And the dev is constantly updating the app making it better

  • Simplicity is Key

I've tried numerous workout logging apps, and the majority lack the essential feature of specifying set types like AMRAP, Rest Pause, or Failure. Even when they do, they often hide it behind a paywall. Some popular ones have clunky or needlessly complicated UIs. Keylifts has become my go-to for my entire training Mesocycle, not just 5/3/1. While I'd appreciate custom progression schemes and the option to set different training maxes for T1 and T2 lifts, it already outperforms most competition. Keylifts is my preferred workout log, but I'm still looking for that perfect app, and Keylifts is close to being the ideal solution for me.
