App has a horrible set up and look. Super expensive for the yearly subscription to be able to upload videos, captions, albums, view more than 10 photos, etc. with how expensive the frame is it should be included. I think there’s similar products out there now look somewhere else. Great idea in theory but it’s too expensive to maintain a service like this.

Needs list auto generation

I LOVE this product but it NEEDS a software update to add grocery list auto-generation. I currently have used apps like: any list, Mealime, etc and the ability to automatically have a grocery list generated for the week is a LIFE SAVER. The whole point of skylight is to streamline so in order to continue to use this product I’d love to see that benefit added to the paid subscription component. Any list is way cheaper! Do $49/year I’d expect this feature. Having to manually enter all the chores, recipes (even having auto generation for recipes would be a life saver), grocery lists….its too much work upfront and I could see this being a deterrent for many prospective customers.

Canadian Customer

Customer service was good at resolving shipping issues.
Shipping and communications were SLOW and almost nonexistent.
No option to sync weather in Celsius.
We use it in the kitchen to sync soooo many calendars (links from google calendars from school, phones etc)
Tracking kids chores, lists etc we are just starting to use so not much feedback here yet.
The touch screen is worth it.
The photo gallery when in sleep mode is so great.

Not working!

I subscribed in order to be able to upload into the magic import and send in or forward emails with dates to make my life easier. But it just is not working all of a sudden. With one school calendar I sent in to be magically imported, it got dates wrong all over the place. I had to delete the entire calendar… to which I then find that you can’t delete categories!?!?!?!? The app or system requires you to reassign the calendar instead of just being able to delete the entire imported information that was imported incorrectly in the first place. Then… if I try to manually set an event to occur twice a week let’s say… it sets the event for every day of the week! I have tried and tried and it is just not working for me and is instead causing me to stress out and get frustrated. As a mom of 3 kids dealing with two schools with different calendars etc and everything else I need to juggle and set on a calendar… I thought this would be a great relief. So far I am learning I may have wasted my money or I have a defective digital calendar. If someone from the team could please reach out I would greatly appreciate it and would update this review once someone helps me with this mess. Super disappointed customer as of right now.

Main functionality is broken

There is no way to sync calendar events created on Skylight back to the cloud or device.

Great system for seeing all the wonderful pictures of our family. It's so fun to get new pictures of our grandchildren. We're addicted to it.

Great Features! Would like to have more control over settings.

Really enjoying this calendar for our family! Especially the views, chore and lists - but I wish we had more control over the settings (I.e. colour schematics) as well as the ‘orientation’ of the calendar when using the app on an iPad (will only view portrait vs landscape).
