Very disappointing

At first , you begin to get excited about what is to come because the lessons are of decent quality and I seemed to be learning successfully. However , I think it’s absolutely disgusting how they get you to work up until the end of the first chapter until they tell you that you HAVE TO BUY a £49 membership that isn’t even permanent to be able to carry on. If I had known that they need you to pay so much, I would have never started learning in the first place. Very disappointing.

Hi George, I think you're being a bit harsh with us. The app has thousands of game levels built by some of the best music teachers and developers you can find, and that costs a lot of money. I mean, we all like to have free stuff, but we're not Google, you know? Please try and think about it like this- can you find a music theory teacher that will give you more than one hour of his time for the price we are asking from you for a whole year? I don't believe so. We're teaching music, we think that it's important, and we charge so we can keep doing so. "Absolutely disgusting"? Come on man... how would you do that differently? We're letting you try our app for free, so you can consider whether you want to purchase it or not. FYI, your one-star review is doing a lot of damage to us and is honestly not so fair all things considered, please reconsider your rating. ❤️🎶🙏🏻 The Compoze team

Could be good - but still needs improvements.

Needs major update. Any of the questions that ask to listen and place notes in correct order HAVE NO SOUND. I have no way of passing and getting better till this is fixed.

It’s very similar to Duo Lingo but learning music as a language so it could definitely be a great app eventually. But still far to go.

An App for Learners

ScoreSkills different game types deliver skills practice in many different ways and makes learning fun! Users are not only expected to know something, but also demonstrate that they can apply what they know through puzzles and writing exercises.

Loved it but then...

I thought this was a great app when I first started using it. After a week or so it kept crashing, I’ve updated my phone to 13.3 and the updated the app. I also turned my phone on and off, and deleted and re-downloaded the app. It keeps crashing- I am going to cancel my subscription.
