A bit confused lol

Hi there! i'm a vocal student at an arts high school. i'm a sophomore, but since i transferred from the theatre major with no prior knowledge of how music worked and only my natural talent in singing to guide me, i kinda got stuck in the first choir level, so now i'm trying to catch up a bit on my music theory. i ended up getting this app, as well as a few others, just to give it a go and see how it works. i was pleasantly surprised... at first. i did the "2 weeks free if you share with 4 people" rubbish without knowing it would only give me 2 weeks, since it DOESN'T PLAINLY STATE THAT, and that was pretty disappointing, obviously, since i kinda felt scammed..? but it wasn't terribly soul-crushing, of course, and i tried to continue to the third lesson of basics, since i could now access that with my free 2 weeks of pro. when i tried to do the lesson, however, it just... randomly introduced some words i'd never heard before (which is rare for me lol), and then... didn't explain them at all and expected me to answer questions about them..? so that sucked.
pretty neat otherwise, though, i guess!

Finally!

This app has the right approach to getting your ears familiar to musical pitch and above, brilliant!

Pretty good

The app is a lot like doling but with music instead it’s pretty good

Interface difficult. Too many steps to create note. Detracts from the learning. Then if you make too many errors you must start over. How do you make a rest. I liked it at. First but now I have to quit because it won’t allow me to continue before I complete a flawless session. It does not adapt to your level of learning. I will have to discontinue using. By the way how do you stop paying after you quit.

Excellence learning tool, with one disappointment

Absolutely delighted with the app, seeing progress in musical understanding and how this is transferring to his piano playing. However the delight at creating his own tunes quickly turns to disappointment when the save button is not activated. Please fix this for a 5* review and happy learners!

I loved this

It helped me so much I came all over my phone

Good

I am enjoying it

Im enjoying the app so far, and it seems like it gonna be a great help in my ear training.
But it did feel like it just threw me into it without explaining what the written notes were exactly. I had no idea what a c note looks like written, and it was an immediate quiz, I was just completely guessing at first and I had to pick up on the differences between each written note to figure out which one was for each note

Great Program

When I was really young, I learn to play accordion however, I never really learned to read, but subconsciously was just learning by ear. Later in life, this hurt me as I tried to go on and learn other instruments. Now at age 65 I came across this program and I’m really having fun learning to actually read music. It has allowed me to go back to my old accordion books and actually read and learn new songs! Loving this program so far. Pop
