Thank you!

I have been visiting Diet Doctor website for quite a while (and I am a member) but I just discovered The Diet Doctor Eat app. It’s wonderful, so quick and easy to use! Thank you DD

Reviews don’t show in app

I love the app and the variety of foods it offers. The directions are clear and the photos are great.
I only wish that the reviews were available to read for each recipe ( not just the star rating) because they would be helpful before cooking to see if I can modify to suggestions for each recipe. Other people’s experience with a recipe is so helpful.
If there is a way to see that and not just the star rating, I would give the app a 5 star.

First class

Both the dietdoctor website & the app are absolutely faultless. Like everything they do it is thoroughly researched & thought through to give you the very best information possible.
The most intuitive & helpful web & app I’ve come across not just in the lchf world. Am so impressed.

2 Weeks in and 10 lbs out! But...

I really like this app and it’s helped me cook in new ways I’d never thought possible on a keto diet. I’ve only just started my keto journey but I’m already seeing results with the help of this app! I have two complaints though. First, I wish there was a separate tab for your favorite recipes. You can tap on the heart to save it for meal planning but it is not in any particular order and sometimes I cannot make food ahead of time so I make it on the fly. Secondly, I could never use the meal plan portion of the app because as soon as I’m done with setting up the plan for the week, the app crashes. I can use the app as is now, but those two problems need to be fixed before I give it a perfect score!

Great recipes & so easy

The app is a fantastic addition to the Diet Doctor recipes. So easy to quickly find something to cook & everything I’ve made has been delicious.

iPad compatibility

1 year ago there was a comment regarding use on iPad. The app is still only designed for iPhone with expanded view for iPad in portrait format. Developing the application to work natively on each device is a much user friendly way to help customers. Especially with an app like this where many would want to view recipes on a larger screen

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. It is correct that the app is built to work in portrait format on iPhones and iPads by design. Your idea about native support for iPads is well noted and communicated to the app development team.

Subscription

I love Diet Doctor. Unfortunately it takes my payment then tells me I still need to upgrade to diet doctor plus. When I called the support team told me it was Apple Stores problem and that they couldn’t do anything with my account. Currently it says I’m an Active member yet I’m unable to do anything with my account. Wish I could actually use the tools it provides. If so it would get a 5 star rating.

iPad user

I enjoy the recipes on this app, but can’t see the comments in the app as on the website. Also, not able to view in horizontal mode, which would be easier while cooking

Terrific app

This app is so quick to find different recipes and then the shopping list is created for you if wanted. I use this app all the time.

My go to keto recipe source

Great recipe site for low carb and keto meals. All of them simple to prepare and taste great, I haven’t tried one I didn’t like. The shopping list feature is good and the fact you can add or subtract the number of people the meal is for, and the quantities are automatically adjusted. There are lots of filters you can apply to narrow your search - meal type, vegan, dairy or egg free, liberal low carb to keto etc.
My only issue is with the measurements-US is in cup size but if I switch to metric I still get dry food quantities in ml not by weight. I don’t think anywhere but US measures cheese, butter or almond flour by volume rather than weight.
